  1. Yep, Prince weak D results in a run and 2 missed outs. I think every other first basemen in the league makes the catch on the flair from Cairo.
  2. “But Gomez is fast and can steal bases so he has to bat 2nd. A catcher can't hit in the 2 hole Ron. Why would you ever do something smart like that?” -The little devil on RR’s shoulder talking to him as he fills out the line up card.
  3. It is crazy what a day off will do for a guy. Weeks is having a hell of a game, and seems to be seeing the ball much better.
  4. Really, he has pitched more innings and posted a better ERA than Yovani each of the last two seasons. You think Yo is a good pitcher right? On that note I hope he gets shelled today!
  5. I love how earlier in the game BA and Rock are talking about having so many good pitchers in our bullpen is a good problem to have, and it will be really hard to decide who to send down when everyone is healthy. Honestly our bullpen isn't very good. Loe and Axford are the only two I have any confidence in. Braddock is my boy, but he hasn't been good this year at all. Green?? Axford could have easily tossed another inning. Frustrating
  6. No.Have you seen his last 3 starts? How do you explain his last start in Washington? Perfect through 3, gives up a hit and then gets shelled from then on. I know he isn't going to doninate every night, but he has been kind of a head case this season IMO.
  7. It seems like Yo isn't there mentally this year. Every start he starts off cruising and then one bad thing happens, ie. bad ball call on Hall, Hall crushes one, and then the wheels fall off. Yo is one of my favorite Brewers, but he seems to get rattled easily of late. Anyone else notice this.
  8. Hall should have been rung up. The ump isn't calling many strikes tonight.
  9. This game shows what the Brewers can do when they don't give away outs every other inning. I don't care how good the pitching and hitting is if you can't play good defense you won't win a lot of games. How different is this game if Braun takes a bad line to that Rollins bullet. On the other side, this game is still close if Howard doesn't wiff on the single Prince hit to push the lead to 4.
  10. I find it funny that Wolf hates Lucroy for whatever reason, but he had his only good start of the year while Luc was catching him. This Gomez in the 2 hole is getting sickening. I would almost rather see Gomez lead off and have Rickie in the 2 hole until Hart is back.
  11. What are they saving Stetter and Braddock for? To come in to face Howard once the lead is gone?
  12. According to CBS sports Valdez safe at first on Unknown fielding error. What the hell does that mean.
  13. YES R. Weeks 2b .281 C. Gomez cf .208 R. Braun lf .352 P. Fielder 1b .310 C. McGehee 3b .281 Y. Betancourt ss .200 M. Kotsay rf .231 J. Lucroy c 2 .312 S. Marcum .143
  14. It is crazy how Casey can go from looking lost at the plate to red hot in a few games.
  15. Do any of you guys think we could get a solid SS for Gomez when everyone is back and healthy? We did trade the Twins JJ Hardy for him. Yuni makes me long for Escobar's range and Hardy's throwing ability.
  16. It is awesome seeing Braun going to right field so often with 2 strikes. Dude is a stud.
  17. Agree, I think Marcum is going to play the stopper role for the Crew today. Too bad Gamel can't play in the OF. I would love to have him on the team instead of Almonte or Kotsay. He has been killing it at Nashville so far this year.
  18. Espinosa is a switch hitter and is better from the right side. Agree, but he looked pretty good from the left side today.
  19. It wouldn't have mattered either way. The ball stuck at the base of the wall; so three were going to score no matter what.
