  1. Replay shows he slammed down the helmet and stared right at the ump saying you gotta be kidding me.
  2. Um, yeah.. They will toss you every time for showing them up.
  3. Funny, that was my first thought as well. His body looks like it is going to explode.
  4. They ask RR the dumbest questions in the post game. Last night it was. What did Corey do differently with his approach? Did the day off yesterday help Corey? What did you think of Yovani tonight? Ask some real question Milwaukee media members. I wish we had some NYC media members asking the questions some times.
  5. I'll never understand how people are so quick to assume every player on the team is going to suck if they get off to a slow start. His BB% is actually up this year, his K% hasn't changed, his ISO is down a little but it takes all of one or two good games to change that at this point. If McGehee goes out and has a 3/4 with 2 HR game tomorrow he'll be right where we would expect him from the past two seasons, not like he is putting up shockingly bad numbers or something. Same thing with the Gallardo comment earlier in the thread, why would you think Gallardo is suddenly a 4.50 ERA pitcher after he has shown otherwise for multiple seasons. Baseball is a streaky games, every player is going to have rough patches and most are going to have goofy looking samples that last for a month+ at some point in it. Slow start? We are a quarter of the way through the year, and his lack of success in his pro career points towards last year being more fluke than the norm. I don't see a two HR game from him any time soon. As far as his BB% goes. I sure hope he has been drawing more walks with the Yuni, Gomez and Kotsay batting behind him all year. He should never see a good pitch to hit.
  6. What would you guys think about a lineup that would have Lucroy bat 2nd and Hart bat 5th for Casey, and move Casey down to 6th. I hope I am wrong, but I don't see Casey turning it around this year. Why not just flip Lucroy and McGehee? I understand Hart has more power, but I think he fits real well hitting second in our lineup. I also think having a high average guy behind our power hitters could be nice. If things are going right, Lucroy can single in Braun or Prince from third rather than have Corey swinging for the fences. That works for me too. I just would like to see RR shake things up for Casey. I feel like he thinks he deserves to always be in the 5th spot in the order for whatever reason.

  8. There is more and more talk that Lindor may slip to 13th or later. If he would fall to the Brewer's I would be pumped. Not exactly sure why his stock is falling, but everything I hear says the sky is the limit for this kid.
  9. I would like to see Casey moved down in the order for a few games. RR needs to do something to wake him up. Outside of Braun and Prince no one should be safe on this team right now.
  10. I already really like the Marcum deal, but if we can lock him up for a few more years I love it. Lawrie will be solid, but I will take Marcums pitching over Lawries bat any day. Also Lawrie is a huge tool, and from everything I heard he isn't the best locker room guy. The Cutter deal was great. If Morgan can stay healthy and even produce a little bit it will be a steal. I don't see Cutter even sniffing the big leagues in his career. Greinke deal, TBD. Currently, I am missing Alcides D, Jeffress arm in the pen, and Cains great D and solid ABs. I was looking forward to having Cain our everyday CF before this trade happened. Not to mention Odorizzi has been unreal this year in the minors. If Greinke comes around the next few weeks once his arm strength is back I will miss the guys we traded a lot less. I would like to see them try to sign Greinke, but I don't think they can keep him and Marcum. I would like to see them sign Marcum and deal Greinke for prospects to help rebuild our farm system if we can't resign both guys. All in all I like all of the trades so far.
  11. It's not his fault Roenicke is playing him in CF so I'd be headed to RRR's place. Yep, want to car pool?
  12. I wish every fastball Yo threw over the plate wasn't belt high. I smell Yo's melt down inning. Please prove me wrong Yovani.
  13. He plays a great CF.... Gomez would have got to that running backwards.
  14. This is awesome! Now we get to depend on Kotsay and Yuni up to drive in some runs for us.... EDIT: Nice, my anti jinx worked.
  15. I hate to take credit for the the recent 6-1 record but I have harnessed the power of the mustache with my Gorman Thomas wallpaper. http://www.millerparkdrun...010/05/gorman-thomas.jpg
  16. Check the link. When has he ever done anything besides get on base in his entire pro carrer? http://firstinning.com/players/Jonathan-Lucroy-a/ EDIT: I never said he would stay at or above .371. I do think he will carry a better OBP that your suggested "better options" through out the year. last season in milwaukee.....?Thanks for pointing that out guy..... I didn't think I had to mention that considering he was a rookie catcher. What about his career stats make you think he can't get on base? That is what I should have asked.

  18. Yeah, it would be terrible having a guy with a .371 On Base Percentage bat in front of Braun and Prince. **FACE PALM** Gomez and Hart with their sub .300 OBP are much better options. Yeah, and Lucory is totally going to keep that up the entire season. Surely Hart will continue to look awful all season. Ummmm, I think he can. Thanks for making my point for me John. VICTORY!

  20. Come on Zack, this is getting sickening. Alright RR! How much longer are you going to let this go on! Someone should have been in up in the pen after the third double!
  21. Switch Lucroy and GoGo and I am more in love. Does RR not notice that the only time Gomez does anything is when he is not in the 2 hole.
  22. When does almost every pitcher give up the majority of his hits? When he is behind in the count. A hitter will rarely be ahead in any count when 90% of the time you are down 0-1. Swing at the 1st pitch if it is meat. Yuni almost decides before he gets in the batters box if he is going to swing or not.
