I will say it seems like Almonte hits almost every ball hard. He has had some really bad luck with the bat. On another note he is horrible in RF. He sucks. Doesn't deserve to be on the team. Plain and simple. Never said he should be.

BA talking about Plush having a thigh bruse. Must be why RR hasn't been starting him. Even if his leg was cut off I think he would be a better than Kotsay though.

Bang Bang. Had it been Nyjer hustling and throwin out...well that's just gritty :rolls eyes: The defense made a play. Unlike last night when Njyer "rolled over" and made it easy on them. Not how I feel, just sayin. The hate for Gomez is unreal sometimes. It isn't unreal it is real. How can you even stick up for the guy. If Rickie isn't hustling home there the game is over. Weeks scored by a step. A smart ball player knows you can't make outs on the bases in front of Braun and Fielder. If Gomez is batting 8th where he should be I wouldn't care if he tried that, but not in the 2 hole.

I agree, I think RR just decided to go with Gomez in the 2 hole until Hart gets back. If he finally puts it together awesome. If he does what he has been doing so far this year he has all the ammo he needs to put him on the pine as the 4th outfielder or push Melvin to trade him. Plush hasn't done anything other than prove he should be starting; so I have to imagine that is RR thinking.

If by 'break out' you mean a .430 batting average and a homer every two games, I think you might have been setting yourself up for disappointment. He'll be fine. We're only 10 games in. No, all I wanted was a batting average of .280 and 30HR. I didn't think he would get back to his .250 with tons of Ks self so soon after the fast start.

Yo is really hurting himself with all the first pitch balls. He hasn't shown the best comand today and I think that is why the ump isn't giving him that outide corner. Way to get out of it ther Yo!

D Nelson just mentioned how great the defense is. "Kotsay filling in for Corey Hart has been GREAT, and Bentancourt has made ALL the plays." That is the dumbest comment I have ever heard. That is so far from the truth it is crazy. What the hell does Tony Plush have to do to get the nod in Center Field? At the very least he has to be starting in RF over Kotsay. The team is much better with Plush in the 2 hole.

Parra and Gomez should have a fight to the death and then Prince should rip the arms and legs off the survivor! I remeber a few days ago when someone mentioned Manny having a issue with his head, and someone had no clue what he was refering to. Today should explain that, he is a total head case he doesn't have the mentality to pitch in the bigs. He get two quick outs and instead of going after Durango he ends up walking him. Then it is another typical Manny Parra implosion after that. Flat out sucks.

I will be pissed if Cain gets sent down. He has done too much for that to happen, but nothing would surprise me at this point. I wouldn't mind if they traded Gomez for $100. Dude is probably the worst player I have ever watched on a consitant basis.
