    Crazy how one year makes a difference. 2008, 10 million gets you Gagne. 2009, 11+ million gets you Looper and Hoffman.

    Anything is better than the 3/4 sleeves. Also, I would love to pay more for jerseys. Lastly, if gas prices stay stagnent, I will be back.

    I love it. I understand we are not a big market team that can go ahead and buy 10 million dollar pitchers but Melvin and company realize with this offense and a number of decent SPs we got a shot.

    I'm not sure I get this comment. Are you saying if they play like that in the tournament they'll get knocked out early, or you think they're going to shoot that pathetically from 3 and the free throw line in the same game again? I think a little of both. Of course if they play like this in the tournament, any team in the field could knock them out. I also don't think this team is really built to be a consistent winnre against proven teams for 6 games in a row but then again, not many teams are.

    To me, there is not much difference between taking steriods and speed, which was prevelent in the 70's. Both have the same intended purpose.

    I went on craiglist and posted what I wanted done and how much I was willing to spend. I had many private little contractors and part timers come out and do estimates (6 I believe). I picked a guy that had many years experiece and came back $1,000 less than what I was wanting to spend. Today, my father and law and me did the electrical, saving $1,500. That would be the only thing I am doing though.

    I still say a 3 year 15 million dollar deal even if he misses the first year. Then again, it's not my money nor I am nearly as smart as even the worst GM in baseball or have the slightest bit of info that Melvin has.

    A sports bar around my town (Spike's) went under and all there stuff is for sale. I went today and got a couple cool things for a pretty good deal. http://sheboygan.craigslist.org/for/1011920874.html I am not affiliated with them at all but like I said I got some good stuff. Most of the stuff is autographed to Spike's Bar unfortunantly but there were some items that were not. They also do not have letters of authenticity. The Yount is a poster (unsigned) around 3 1/2 feet by 2 feet which was $25. The black and white picture is a cartoony look at County Stadium with the highlights listed, unsigned but framed for $15. The top two are 8 by 11 in. of Coop and Gorman signed for $10 and the bottom in the 82 team in a matted photo with frame, unsigned for $10. They have a lot of Braves (milwaukee) and Packers stuff still left.

    Green Bay upsets the number 11 team in the nation, the highest ranked team the Phoenix have ever beat. Free throws won the game for them (over 90%) and the student section is on the court.
