Slow here as well but lately (last couple days) it's been better.

It isn't? And here I wept openly in front of the wife all the way home. I did see that team talk a lot and if you aren't used to it it might get under your skin a little.

Got some school obligations to go to. Good luck guys.

Making sure here. The address of the field is..... 2821 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Correct? Just making sure to get the right address in mapquest.

Unless it clears up I will more than likely not make it. I am not going to drive all the way to Milwaukee for a GTD. Hopefully though it will be called prior to any call I have to make.

Since I heard rain for this week what is the stance on rainouts? How bad does it have to be (lightning?) and when is it called?

I think that was one of my Willy Mayes Hayes pop-ups there.

Cool, hopefully we can get some sort of game together and I certainly don't mind if "stragglers" show up

I am up for anything including maybe split squads or actual base running.

    Good Stuff!!!

You would think as a brewer fan i would be able to but I have never keep score before. That is not to say i am not willing to try though.

As far as stats go that was one of the major reasons I got on board so hopefully it is a go. I have two brothers that post here sometimes (afeter and casselsuglies) and any ribbing I get from the amount of k's and e's I can handle. Plus I would love to see the amount of errors I would have throughout the year.

Next week I should be able to make the practoce. These two past weeks were very busy. I do have everything payed for I believe?
  15. razzzorsharp
2 for me more than likely and it sounds excellent. If there is anything that needs to be brought let me know.

Well, I wasn't at this last practice nor can I make it to the next one (school stuff) but from my experiences here is what I have done. We have always went with 4 OF's at the start of the game. One time through the order we got a sense of what players have gap power and stuck with the 4 OF's. Others, usually those lower in the order, we started having a rover to try and stop bloop singles. This is kinda risky but it worked for us. As far as batting order goes I don't think it matters too much as long as we play station to station. I have been in games so many times where we gave up 3 outs trying to stretch things. It just isnt worth the risk in my opinion. As far as fielding goes are we going with set positions? I like this idea better because people will then get accustomed to what they need to do and how they need to play and instead of just being pretty good fundamentally at a lot if positions everybody can just focus on their tasks that go with their selected position. End Rant.

Lidge looked a little iffy and Koskie and Weeks let him in it.
  18. razzzorsharp
What kind of count do we got so far?
  19. razzzorsharp
I'll be there but I do not have any bats.
  20. razzzorsharp
Sure, the magnet would be awesome if that is the case!
  21. razzzorsharp
You had me guessing pitchers after you said it was a starter. I was not really on the same wavelength.
  22. razzzorsharp
Do I get a magnet or the magazine?
