  1. Cards (3) (2-1) - @Astros (3) (2-1) - @Cards (3) (0-3) Pirates (3) (1-2) Dodgers (4) (2-2) @Mets (3) (2-1) @Pirates (4) (2-2) - Cubs (3) (2-1) - Cards (2) (1-1) 14-14 2 games out of first
  2. Saying winning two games out of three at worst is pretty high standards. I would have taken a 6-3 homestand at the start but of course I would now love a 8-1 though 7-2 wouldn't be a season ender.
  3. Braun could have been had with a great throw. Dicey with no outs.
  4. Gah, that really sucks. What a poor throw there.
  5. We did upgrade at SS in Hairston.
  6. http://espn.go.com/boston...rs-traded-boston-red-sox The Boston Red Sox have traded for Seattle Mariners starter Erik Bedard, a major league source tells ESPNBoston.com's Gordon Edes. The Red Sox obtained Bedard in exchange for Double-A catcher Tim Federowicz, the source said. The deal was agreed upon just moments before the 4 p.m. ET deadline, according to the source.
  7. Can't get a hit everytime, no reason to judge him on one at-bat.
  8. I remember reading a post in the offseason when the Brewers made their moves for Zack and Marcum stating to remember those days when the trade deadline came around because that was their mid-season moves (larger ones) and instead of getting 1/2 year out of them, they would get two years. I still stand by whoever made that comment and it rings true on a day like today.
  9. Got the lead, that's cool. It would be nice to get one more out of Narvy.
  10. Guys, guys, guys...I have finally come to the conclusion on RR lineups. I got inside information that he gets his advice from this guy.... http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/137/m_faf5a8bfc4c940d6bd66ca827b414434.jpg
  11. http://danny-knobler.blog...s/entry/8590096/31010905 The Braves have acquired center fielder Michael Bourn from the Astros, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com Sunday morning. After starting out looking for a big outfield bat (the Braves were one of the teams most interested in Carlos Beltran), the Braves shifted their focus some after putting two center fielders (Jordan Schafer, Nate McLouth) on the disabled list. Bourn, regarded by some as the fastest player in baseball, should help.
  12. As far as those sliding cuts go I usually sleep on a recliner for a couple nights following to force me on my back with it just out in the open. This happens to me at least once a year and I am forced to wear womens' softball/soccer long socks to ease the cuts a bit.
  13. So I assume no news is good news regarding this injury. I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop and hear bad news going by how gruesome is looked.
  14. I don't ever think it's an easy win. Happ could pitch a gem tonight as the Brewers aren't the lefty killers that they once were.
  15. Jeff Smardafdasgfragrfagagfwa only pitches well against the Brewers it seems.
  16. Pirates down 7-0 with Halladay on the mound, that's close to a lead-pipe lock.
  17. Pirate game on MLB and Card game on WGN for those who like to channel swap.
  18. That was my only game at Wrigley. Great Brewer win.
  19. I'd put dollars to donuts that says he was have a hit in his first forty atbats.
  20. He made 12.8 million in a contract with the Yankees so he made a good chunk of money playing. Whether he still has it or not is unknown and in a lot of these cases money doesn't seem to be much of a factor.
