  1. Getting kinda sick of seeing Preston Smith constantly dropping and playing that hook zone that he can't do a thing about. He's covering almost no ground and NOT rushing the passer.
  2. And Amos lets one go right though his hands. C'mon...
  3. It seemed like it was working pretty good early on. When you hand a team 14 points when their defense can't get off the field, it changes things a little bit. I think the gameplan kinda flew out the window after that second quarter.
  4. Yup...it's can only get worse from here. Bahk looked bad walking off the field.
  5. I don't even know who his replacement is but he cannot possibly be worse. Adams?
  6. Good...force them to address the issue.... And Bahk is out. That's something that could derail the rest of the season. And it doesn't look good the way he's moving(or not moving).
  7. Yeah...that's kinda a gift for the Packers. If they give the ball to Jones there, I think it's about a 90 pct chance they convert. Would have been nice if they'd have missed that FG. Now just come out and try to get a score without getting it all in one shot. I don't care if it takes a 7 minute drive, run the ball and mix it up like they were doing early.
  8. Same here. This doesn't feel like the 49'ers game to me. They're getting beat, but they're beating themselves(namely #12). That's just not going to happen often. They do need to make a move at the deadline I believe. They have a massive need for a middle linebacker. Probably the single biggest weakness on the team. There are a handful of MLB'ers who actually make a difference. Guys with speed like White or David. I don't see anyone like that coming available. I think it'll be far easier to upgrade the DL with just anyone who's not named Tyler.
  9. It's a little disturbing that this team seems to respond very poorly in the face of any adversity. When things are going well, they cruise. When things go wrong on them, they tend to snowball. Honestly, the haven’t lost often under MLF. I don’t think you can make that conclusion just yet. Just trying to put things in perspective. Sometimes good teams lose when they play other good teams on the road. That's true. I think it's more the way the game unfolds when the Packers get behind. They're not good vs the run and Tampa has a good pass rush...and we really haven't seen the right side of that OL tested. But they cannot give up points on this first drive.
  10. Same here. This doesn't feel like the 49'ers game to me. They're getting beat, but they're beating themselves(namely #12). That's just not going to happen often. They do need to make a move at the deadline I believe.
  11. It wasn't even week to week, it was quarter to quarter. They had the ball for almost the whole 1st quarter and it was 10-0 and fell apart. The Pick was bad...but the way they fell apart after that is what's baffling. Now Tampa's going to be able to just come after Rodgers all 2nd half. We might see Tim Boyle if they score and the Packers don't on the next couple possessions. I mean...I'd assume we'd see Rodgers for at least two possessions, but this is close to getting out of hand. I really didn't think Raymond James would get Rodgers again. I was wrong apparently.
  12. Compared to GB's in last 20years it's pretty easy to look incredible. Outmatched. There's not enough time for Rodgers and a poor WR core. But you know, Love was a great pick in round 1. Rodgers would have been dumped 3 times now if Jones hadn't made spectacular blocks.
  13. The difference between Lewis and Tonyan....(Lewis and anyone to be fair.)
  14. Twice in three throws, lol. The slant is what it is, but no reason to go to him on the pick 6. The Pick 6 was a rare-rare Rodgers pick that was all on him. Throwing that deep out when the CB's just sitting on it...
  15. That'll probaby be incomplete.
  16. Sure...but he did hit Adams hands on the 2nd one and it should have been a 1st down.
  17. Again....Lancaster laughably bad. Not that I wold have expected a stop from the 2, but he offers so little resistance. Just put on the ground almost immediately.
  18. These MLB'ers are incredible(but also pretty rare).
  19. Well...it's not much in the way of "good" news, but at least you're keeping your defense off the field and tiring out Tampa's. As long as they can put a drive together.
  20. I remember one vs the Bengals(William Jackson I think). Maybe one vs the Vikings?
  21. Nice. It'd be awesome to get a chance to see him get out there and get a few catches. I'm skeptical that he's active this week, but playing down in Tampa...it might be a good idea to go with another WR'er given that guys will probably need a bit more rest.
  22. I don't think they'll be short on leadership. They've got a manager who I think is a pretty great leader, but LoCain coming back provides plenty of leadership, Yelich. I think younger guys can be leaders and I think Woody has already established himself as one. But, as Bruce mentioned, the swag's only coming back if they can hit the ball. It's hard to get excited when you're scoring 3 runs a game.
  23. I wouldn't trade Peralta for all three, much less Turang. Turang's the exact type of prospect you should be trying to build around. A SS with great speed who gets on base. IF the Brewers were to trade Turang along with a pitcher like Peralta, not to mention a 19 year old prospect, I'd hope we'd get a better return than this.
  24. So it's not repeatable because it's so good that nobody else can do it? And if his Fastball velocity dips, I don't think it'll matter with him. He's got an upper 90's fastball and he still throws that freakish Change more than the FB. That doesn't mean I think he should be extended after 25 innings, so I don't disagree with your conclusion, I'm just not sure that I agree with how you get there(not that it really matters).
