Joey Bosa, Dee Ford, Thomas...3/4ths of their DL DeeBo, Kittle, Coleman, Mossert... And then you throw in their 4 top CB's, their starting QB... So aside from the argument they weren't going 13-3 again being impossible to predict, it's easy to say now when they've been absolutely decimated by injuries. They've lost probably...6-7 Pro-Bowl players in the first FOUR games and they're still one of the better teams in the NFL. You could also look at Baltimore to refute this argument. I don't know if they win 14 games next year, but I think it's pretty reasonable they'll win 12+. The schedule is a couple game difference. You're playing the same teams in your division, you're playing the same teams in the other divisions. You have a couple of unique games compared to the other teams in your own division. I think the 1st to last play schedule is what's overrated. I'll put health as the #1 factor, and young talent as the 2nd most important when you're talking about teams breaking through. The 49'ers were probably going to be a 10 win team the year Jimmy G went down with injury...but "lucky" for them he got injured and Bosa was available and totally completed that team. The 49'ers are going to be a lot to deal with for a very long time, but only Bill Belichick could overcome THIS many injuries.
