  1. I would guess (and I truly am guessing) that it's less than 20%. It's less than 9 pct. Teams that are 3+ in turnovers win 91.4 pct of the time.
  2. So....to recap. You stated as a fact that the Packers had struggled scoring in the red zone this year. I pointed out that they were 5th in the league. And that's triggered? It's not cool aid pal, it's facts. See, you can say something's true because ONE part of ONE game stands out, but it doesn't make it so.
  3. And most of that damage was done on 2 plays when you were deep on the depth chart at safety. They got a 60-ish yard completion on that flee flicker when Redmond bit hard and then for some reason Sullivan was supposed to be helping King over the top on Golladay. Don't know how a UDFA who is a CB is responsible for that, but he obviously was and he didn't get there. So even in that first quarter, it was mostly just those 2 plays. The 1st play and then right after the Jones fumble. This Detroit team does seem different. I think they've finally got a coach. I think they've had more talented teams. When they had Suh, Ansah, Farley, Calvin, Tate...etc...but awful coaching. This iteration isn't as talented, but they're better coached in my opinion.
  4. They haven’t exactly been that great at it this season. That's not Aaron Jones time. It's Jamal Williams time. And he was balling tonight. The way he was running it tonight, I like his chances of punching it in there. At the 6 inch line it may just be Aaron Rodgers time. See which side Harrison goes to, you go the other way. Anyway, my take away, the Packers played poorly, yet they still won their 5th game in week 6 or the season and some young guys made some huge plays down the stretch.
  5. They haven’t exactly been that great at it this season. They've literally been one of the best in the NFL at it. They've got the 5th highest TD pct in the red zone. But now they can't get 6 inches? How many of you guys are actually Packers fans? A 5-1 team that's beaten ever team in their division, a division considered the best by some, a division in which everyone's over .500(or was before Detroit fell to 2-2 tonight). And some people are fighting WAY too hard about how a incredible 35 yard pass and catch might have been 6 inches short of a TD....with over 9 minutes to go.
  6. Pylon cam? 2nd frame? Ball is a little inside the one.... knee down before the goal by about 3 inches... Ok. He was down. So it's first and goal about 6 inches away. What about the 4th and goal TD that the refs gave Detroit after one of the refs said he was down and neither ref could actually see the ball? I don't get why this is the hill we're dying on.
  7. The Lions defender had his left hand on Lazarus bicep and his left arm was all over Lazards' back. Please rewatch.... a few frames before pylon cam for the touch and pylon cam (2nd frame) for the knee before goalline and ball well before goaline. The Pack was gifted that one. The biggest calls were those phantom hands in the face (or neck) calls. Lazard was definitely down just short of the end zone. However, the hands to the face calls were not phantom calls. Did Flowers "impact Bahktiari's facemask?" That's the criteria. Especially the first one. Though I don't think it's even the hand the refs were calling, but Flowers hand goes right up under the face mask and literally hits Bahk in the face. The Packers definitely got more calls. And the Packers repeatedly gave Detroit free points.
  8. Why don't you since you're so intent on arguing the point? LOL...exactly when do you say, "ok, now argue against your opinion," outside of law school? It's your opinion. You support it. What plays did they blow. And the Packers STILL win. Was some aspect of this confusing to you?
  9. I don't really care how they get there. I wasn't expecting this team to get hot until around San Diego and to get their offense going. Since White left, there's only been a couple years in which the Packers could play average offensively and still win games consistently. I wonder if Rodgers trusts Lazard now. If so, he should have 10 catches next week. By the way, I just watched that 1st hands to the face again. I don't know what the refs called, but he gets that left hand right in his face before getting his right arm extended on the shoulder pad. The second one...I thought that's a fairly standard call. I mean, the refs should probably just eat that flag on 3rd down, but still.
  10. Way past that Well...he also doesn't seem to understand the hands to the face rule. It's hands to the face OR NECK area. The first one that gave them a 1st down, Flowers smacked him in the face, but that call was bad. The second one though, that's pretty standard.
  11. I really would have handed it off to Vitale 3 times before kicking it. I also would not have let it run down to 2 seconds. But....it worked out. The Packers are 5-1 at the point I'd hoped for 3-3 going into the season.
  12. Why don't you since you're so intent on arguing the point? LOL...exactly when do you say, "ok, now argue against your opinion," outside of law school? It's your opinion. You support it. What plays did they blow. And the Packers STILL win.
  13. How is saying WE'VE screwed up being a homer? The idea that we only lose because of our screw ups is what makes it a bit much. Sure...if that was an idea. We're stating specific facts about a specific game. They're down by 2. They've fumbled on 1st down on Det's 30. They muffed a punt on their own...what, 15? They dropped a pass that went for a pick and a long return. That's at least 3 on the Rodgers fumble, 3 on the pick on Shepard just assuming they don't score the TD and 3 on the muff assuming the Packers don't do anything. So...saying it's an "Idea that we only lose because of our screw up's," is a bit disingenuous.
  14. Yeah, the 12 man penalty isn't an argument FOR Detroit...
  15. How is saying WE'VE screwed up being a homer?
  16. Exactly. This Detroit team looks just...average.
  17. Well, Rodgers ball placement has been much-much better tonight.
  18. They aren't. Packers losing this game is entirely on them. They are playing like crap. Entirely? Please. Ok...85 pct?
  19. When you have a basketball team out there, you need to throw the ball up a little bit here.
  20. 10 points probably? I don't think Detroit's doing anything special. The Packers just aren't making anything happen. And they need to speed up the tempo now.
  21. Alright, well...pretty much have to have it here.
  22. Yup. Just had a feeling it was going to be one of those games. The Packers have done everything they can to lose this game.
  23. Meh, that's just bad luck. I blame him for the Muff, but he loses his footing coming out of the break. Sometimes....crap happens. They need this call to go their way though. I have zero confidence in the refs at this point however.
  24. That's incomplete. No WAY he had possession of that.
