    Don't tell me what to do. If this team keeps playing like crap then it's not going to matter who comes back. Easy buddy. You are on the ledge every game. Just trying to bring you back to reality a bit.

    For all the bashing Weeks gets, JJ might be the one on the team that has the most unproductive and ugly at bats on the team. Man, he can really be awful in long stretches.

    Florida can say the same thing and they have had more runners than us. We need to get things going here.

    Every game I have been saying the hitting will come around and I see signs but it is just not there yet. Sooner or later we might score about 6-8 a game for a few games in a row. I hope so at least.

    Thankfully for us Hanley is a below average fielder. Amazing at everything else.

    Until he gives up some runs and then we move on to the next guy. Is is not always that easy and we know that every reliever will have bad days. Torres has had some rough times as well if my memory serves.

    I thought everyone liked Riske? From the past threads I have read, he was the guy Ned was supposed to put in games instead of Gagne. I guess a bad outing and he gets turned on like everybody else. Tough crowd.

    Has JJ ever hit a ball hard more than one time in a game? I am worried about him more than weeks or others. He only hits the ball hard maybe once a game.

    Why, when we play the Cardinals, does it always seem like they determine the match-ups and we react to it? What you can see here is that we need to define some bullpen roles and stick to them. We have too many guys who can only pitch one inning out of the bullpen. We could reduce our bullpen by one and still have more flexibility. They can only pitch one inning because they are being asked to pitch everyday. It's easy to say put in this pitcher but its a much different story when they actually have to pitch all the time. We are going to have some tired arms out there if this keeps up. That is why Ned just cant make the change all the time. We have a good bullpen but we need to give them some time off with a blow out.

    This is why we needed Parra to get through 5, even if he was tired. Now we are going to use our entire bullpen in this game and they will get beat up as the season goes on. They are probably already tired and now a game that should be on cruise is going to get interesting.

    Ya we know that they have alot of apprearances under their belt. But doing it today and every other time we have a jam in the 5th will add up to way to many. It is not alot to ask of a pitcher to pitch through the 5th. It worked so now we can move on. And if the bats arrive this team is going to get really hot.

    I guess I look at it as we need pitchers to work out of a jam once in awhile. The answer can't be switching a pitcher everytime we have a problem brewing. Especially when it is so early in the game.

    I think this is where we need to relax. We have a lefty in there and a lefty hitter. Seems like a pretty reasonable situation to leave him in. He should be done now but I dont know why you would have made the switch for that hitter. If we switch the pitcher everytime someone in the chat said so we would use 10 pitchers a game.

    When thinking about the rotation I would think that Parra is with no doubt the weak link. I know bush gets his share of blame but he is far and away better than Parra. I think Manny may need some more time before he is set in our rotation. He kills the bullpen by only going 5 or less every start.

    Certainly a tough error. We can live with those. Just not the routine plays. Braun will make that play soon. Tough for a new outfielder.

    No way JJ scores on that ball. Counsell is what he is. A smart guy who does some little things for you when you need him. A great fill in guy.

    You are correct. Ned can't go out there and get some of our guys to get their averages up. We either start hitting or this team isn't going anywhere.
