  1. Doug pitches extremely well and gets saddled with the L. Such represents the facts of life for a Brewers pitcher. What a joke of a game. I hope Doug gets onto the All Star team, though. He does deserve it.
  2. If the ump is relying on that outside called strike, Zambrano should have been gone just then.
  3. Nice, heads-up baseball by Rickie.
  4. Does it scare anyone that the only two hits we have are from Lyle Overbay and Doug Davis? At this point, we should start Doug at 3rd whenever he's not pitching against Zambrano!
  5. I wanna go nuts everytime I see Zambrano's ugly mug.
  6. rluzinski - Agree, there is no way Lee hits about .350 even. I'll say he hits .320.
  7. Davis with a hit! He actually does look better with the bat this year. Cubs announcers giving Doug credit.
  8. ja002h - I disagree. The White Sox know how to play the game. They have a great bullpen, a great ace in Mark Buehrle and Jon Garland has been doing well for them. I believe Garland and Lee will both fall off as the season progresses. I firmly believe in reversion to the mean and if there was ever a case where it was necessary to talk about with, it's in those two players' cases.
  9. Lee's season makes no sense. He is due to revert to the mean given his career statistics. There is no way he keeps this up all year.
  10. At least Doug made Zambrano throw 7-8 pitches. Man, Carlos is one ugly dude.
  11. Jenkins has an 0-2 count, gets it to 3-2 and grounds out. Geez.
  12. Well, at least Zambrano went down swinging. Let's get some runs and cut down on the walks, Doug.
  13. I love the fact DD has 2 ribbies! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  14. Ben is a solid pitcher and it's true he's not getting much run support, BUT, he has been giving up some runs lately. He does not look like the dominating pitcher he has been in the past. Similarily, lately I have been more comfortable with Doug Davis out there (scratch his Blue Jays outing) because he always seems to keep the team in the game. Sheets is giving the lead back a lot this year to the opposition.
  15. As strange as it sounds, I'd rather have Chad Moeller in the lineup than rally killer Damian Miller.
  16. Baseball Tonight was wrong about the game. They said that the 20.25 ERA on the scoreboard was Zambrano's for the game. Actually, it was Rich Hill's ERA prior to coming into the game. C'mon guys, get this stuff right. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
