Ummm that was all on Lucroy there. If he blocks that third strike the runner doesn't advance. Again that is all on Lucroy there. Loe could have not thrown the pitch in the dirt. I couldn't see the game, but while a catcher could and should block many in the dirt, the pitcher shouldn't be bouncing it to begin with. That tells me all I need to know.

Looks better than the last one. Would've liked a new sculpt instead of one that's been used multiple times. I like that bobblehead they show on the page, though. Too bad it's a retro and not the blue top uniform.

Boston absolutely worked LA in this deal. Sure they gave up Gonzalez, but relieving themselves of Crawford's terrible contract, and dumping Punto along with Beckett, plus paying only $12m? Holy. Crap.

Yeah, last I checked Gomez was our most effective player. The issue comes from the "ten game" sample size. But once enough ballots are in it will square up.

Just to piggy back this post, but I have to admit for being a decade old Miller holds up. My wife and I recently took in a game at Target Field, and we both remarked how the stadium was beautiful, but the fan experience was lacking. No parking, no tailgating, no carry-ins. We both wish MP was closer then a seven hour drive.

I understand your concern about losing too many pre-orders, but if you lose that many, isn't it really a commentary on how satisfied people are with the artwork? My critique isn't of turborickey, he's done some outstanding legwork on this project. I'm just sorely disappointed in the designer. For a commissioned piece, I expected a lot more, especially given what the Matt Cain bobblehead purports to be. I'm sorry, gentlemen, but I am rescinding my two pre-orders.

As was I. It's more unique and captures something having to do with the trophy beyond just his stats.

So why doesn't the artwork reflect that? Seems like the art for the Giants bobbleheads demonstrate a better effort. I see what you're saying, but my eyes are telling me something different. Oof. Have to admit, I'm not impressed. I was really hoping for something that resembled the award presentation. That said, the mock-up still shows the beard. Unless he's got another design to show us, I'm likely out if this is the final design before it goes to "press."

Color me excited for our Braun. That's good work. My guess is that our bobble will feature the "trophy" pose from the WS bobbles, with the NL mvp award in its place, and Brauny's (unbearded) face above. If I was even remotely skilled in photoshop or ms paint, I bet that I could come up with a feasible mock up of my own. Very much looking forward to this.

Just a question, but has anyone ever seen a finished product bobble sculpted by Bobbles Galore? I'd be interested in seeing a photo if one is available. The Cain just shows the mock up.

Would still like to trade this size 48 for a 44. Preferably for the same style, but willing to consider a road gray cool base, retro pinstripe our game used jerseys.
