    I don't get the point of this. Sure we really didn't need Closser, but you'd think we could get a little more for him. I would think just the fact that he's a catcher would make him more valuable than an OF'er that can't hit a lick.

    Why don't you just start an "Optimists Thread." If people want to use it they will, and if no one posts in it, it'll die like any other thread... Thats basically how the "Venting Thread" started a couple years back. Someone started the thread and it stuck around.

    Haha! Who needs a pinch hitter. Thats incedible that someone called Sheets getting a basehit in the beginning of this thread. I can't say I necessarily agree with Ned leaving Sheets in the game though.

    With a rested bullpen and Sheets at almost 100 through 6(and in line for the win), this should be a perfect time to pull Ben.
