  1. Aguilar had 2-3 that I thought he usually would square up, but that's just how baseball goes sometimes, I suppose. Definitely disappointing not to score that inning, but Gant is looking hittable right now. Hopefully, that continues. And, hopefully, the Brewers take advantage. Chacin proving that theory. Gant's not going to have a good time the 2nd turn through the order
  2. Exactly. Bader is a true cardinal. Short, clearly roidin' it up, pissed at everything. Soon he'll be drunk driving with LaRussa
  3. Not classy that the brewers won, that Braun hit 2 homers (since he cheats and the cardinals DONT), that Yelich homered after an intentional walk, or that there was no kneeling in front of the best team and fan base EVER. What a game. I'm watching it listening to the cardinals announcers now. Their tears taste so good.
  4. Jesus should have sac bunted there. I guess with Travis "looks into center field instead of the ball" at the plate, it wouldn't have mattered.
  5. Although the Molina comment is deleted, I agree completely with that name for him.
  6. Gotta put some combination of Burnes and Woodruff/hader/peralta in the rotation next year. The high ceiling, cheap guys have to balance out the middle ceiling, expensive guys. That with some one to hit cleanup would put this team over the top.
  7. On a side note, I love that almost no one is here and watching this game and are watching a collapsing football franchise instead.
  8. Love it. Shut those somehow drunker than brewers fans up.
  9. Can we please go into st. louis up three in case we're swept? This has disaster written all over it.
  10. Very glad the offense showed up today... now let's shut them down ace Miley and keep adding on!
  11. That doesn’t mean we should hit like glavine/Maddox /smoltz are throwIng every series against us. It’s ridiculous.
  12. That pitch hit the knob of the bat, very clearly.... how is there not enough to challenge?
  13. I know Rock makes it sound too easy, but chances are he fouls it off or hits it hard back to pitcher, something not positive. If it were as easy as Bill makes it sound I would hope we would take 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Thames doesn't strike me as an accomplished bunter. I get that, but if you actually practice bunting it is worlds easier than hitting.... I'm simply doubting Thames practices because "chicks dig the long ball" mentality.
  14. Would have been nice if Thames swallowed his pride and dropped a bunt down for a double, instead of a double play. You're hitting less than .219 bro, time to help the team.
  15. There's absolutely no excuse for not hitting these starters. They're throwing hittable pitches like every other team. Is this like Favre in Minnesota?
  16. According to some on this board, he's still amazing. Definitely agree with Santana getting more starts. Braun/ Shaw doesn't scare people in the run producing positions.
  17. Boy that was stupid. Just hand them a couple outs and lower his pitch count. Good plan
  18. does clint hurdle fake bake? Looks like he spends half of his time in a tanning bed
