  1. Coulter's OPS is near .800.... has he "found it" with the possibility of being unemployed soon? Sure would be nice if one of Coulter, Gatewood or Grisham somehow figured things out and realized their potential. At least a couple of them can go nuts at CS next year and be part of a package for something decent.
  2. It’s diffult to even laugh at this lineup anymore
  3. After we started “rebuilding” it was at least exciting to watch guys get a second chance and the prospects. What’s exciting about the organization now? I’m with the crowd on trading high on a few guys this offseason. You have to either completely recommit to the rebuild or go out and buy some top tier players. Anything else will cement this organization in patch up mode again. There simply is not enough star power on this team, aside from JJ and Hader. You need a top tier pitching staff and average offense or average pitching and great hitting. It sucks that those of us who have followed this team our whole lives keeps getting this poor product.
  4. About to go into third place, down one run, keep the mop up guy in!
  5. If for nothing else, Hader should be adding innings in case we want to have him start next year. This is moronic.
  6. Granted the hitters and Coles are responsible, but the coach should be able to motivate and change approaches, no? That's usually their job as well, not to just stand back and let them continue to be crappy for 200 straight games
  7. Counsell is whatever. He's fine. I don't agree with all his decisions, but it's that way no matter who the manager is. My only real complaint with him is how long he stuck with Knebel this year and was still married to the idea of a conventional closer, but for the most part I think he is able to think outside the box. Counsell has to wear at least part of the crappy hitting this year. Games like this, we have no chance. We have these games 3 days a week. It's incredibly frustrating.
  8. I thought for awhile even with all the holes we could sneak into the playoffs since no one is really good in the NL this year. Now that the Cardinals are around, no way.
  9. I wasn't on the hating Counsell train before, but clearly this is as close to a "must win" as things get in August. I don't think Craig should be back on a (hopefully) much improved team this offseason.
  10. i can’t believe there’s all this negativity, best team ever!
  11. If our pitching staff is done this team is done. Davies to the rescue?
  12. Dear lord with this team. I was about to say something positive
  13. I just tuned in, how on earth do we have 14 hits through 5 and only 6 runs?
  14. Boy this team could at least play Tim Tebow if they’re a comedy show
  15. LOL. This team is pathetic. How on earth are they in the playoff picture?
  16. Did I miss why this game is blacked out nation wide?
  17. I was thinking this was a "must sweep" series. BOOOOOOOO. What a poor product.
  18. This rotation feels like it barely holds together. Hopefully the offseason sees at least a few upgrades.
  19. I believe we addressed this in "no luv 4 da crew?"
  20. I came back to ask why Arcia was hitting. I guess it worked for once! Walk em off in the 10th boys!
