I'm trying to convince him, I know he won't- but the Brewers would be a heck of a lot better if he did retire. The constant injuries are more annoying to me than the results this year, which I will readily admit he has been unlucky both by the eye test and advanced metrics.

It would be a shame if he retired like David wright. Maybe a deep post season run would convince him? It would be nice to replce dead weight with a premier LH starter or a big bat somewhere else. I loved him more than most after the PED thing, but it’s time to hang em up.

Actively trying to not make the post season, it would appear. How many all stars will we need to acquire for the offense to hit?

Let’s focus on the issue at hand, dropping a series at home to the pirates because we can’t hit at all once again. I really think we could have the most talented lineup in baseball and Not score against crap teams

Been around baseball for some time now. Does screaming at guys ever get better results in baseball? In my experiences it only makes it worse. I've never been on a sports team where calling some one out and pumping guys up didn't make the team better. I'm not advocating for being Carlos Zambrano or Jeff Kent, so perhaps screaming was a strong word. Do you coach? I'm not being facetious I'm actually asking.

We'd also have to score, in that scenario. Cubs didn't today and still won True. I'm sure the reds will score buckets against our starters though.

Not seemingly. Coming into tonight we are hitting .236 (10th in the NL) against the Pirates. Hit better, because no one else is losing
