That's what I was saying. He's rolling over pitches on the outside corner because he's literally five feet from the plate. What on earth?
-
Arcia needs his first hitting lesson during the off season at some point. Rickie Weeks seemed to have a better grasp on proper hitting approach
-
Is it just me of does Aguilar stand five feet off the plate? He can barely reach the outside corner
-
A sweep! Finally! Let's finish the cubs off this time
-
When does Bumgarner sign with the Cardinals? He'll "suddenly" be able to throw 98 and help re-write the unwritten book
-
When on earth are umpires like this going to be disciplined? That's totally unacceptable.
-
HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
What a piece of garbage UMP. Go sing on youtube you drama queen
-
How about some offense, fellas? I have to go to a political rally this evening (puke) so some excitement here would be nice...
-
Bumgarner is not locating things well, Brian. We're missing everything
-
Man Bumgarner is leaving everything up. Gotta start making him pay, they're missing the meatballs
-
Gotta love that Schoop trade. He's just so hot at the plate
-
Can we something other than crow? Haven't we eaten enough this year? What about wildling?
-
Glad we didn't just put Jeffress in right away.... ugh

How is this team not fun to watch? I also don't get the talk that this team isn't destined to do much in the post season. They just played really well against the best team in the NL and have completed well against others. Who is that much better than them? Cubs and I guess dodgers. No one else I think the playoffs (provided we get there) will be extremely fun to watch on the NL side. A lot of teams with tons of holes. So, I'd put us up against anyone because our bullpen is just that much better. There are a lot of parallels to the Cardinals team that beat us in 2011, in my opinion. Speaking on the Yelich situation, please don't lump those of us who are often doom and gloom with the questioning of his work ethic crowd. You're beating a dead horse with the "the past doesn't matter, stop being negative when we get swept by a bad Pirates team for five games". Accept that some of us don't forget the past and continual failures, and we'll accept that you do. This is much different, and very uncalled for with a guy putting up MVP numbers. He's not Johnny Estrada.

Thank you 300lb baby Jesus. Wow that must feel great for Schoop... a shadow of his former self braun being walked so they pitch to you.
-
Have we gone back to our feast or famine offense already? I enjoyed a week of scoring....
-
hey now, DD still had a 3.38 era that year as I recall. That’s facing the cream of the steroid crop
-
Counsell being Counsell here again. I guess there’s no way we can score two and tie
-
I was more so referring to the last two games and their bullpen overall... unless they have a bunch of secret relievers with great stuff, the De La Rosa's and Cishek's of the world don't inspire fear during a playoff game against experienced hitters. I just hadn't realized they were that short of shut down types like our bullpen.
-
The cubs pitching seems to be in a complete state of meltdown. If we hit Quintana hard things could get uglier than last night. That bullpen is atrocious. I would love to play these guys first round if both teams get in.
-
It doesn't make me feel bad hearing their dumb fans cheering when they're down ten in the 9th.. fly the L boys
-
Let's get a 3 homer game from Braun tomorrow.. lay it on and get every whining cub ejected. What a difference a week makes if we complete this tomorrow
-
September baseball at its finest. I've never seen your signature before. Crom appreciates it. He laughs at your four winds
