1. Keep beating it, because it's true. You'll get no complaints from me.
2. In the context of our trying to get back into the playoff race, with our slim hopes, no, there hasn't been a bigger hit this year. If we win this game, against one of the teams in front of us, we're 2 games under .500, and still alive. If we lose the game, we're 4 under, and it's almost impossible to get back into it. And a HR in extra innings, on the road against one of our biggest rivals...is huge. This could get even more momentum going. But Ax has to save it. Come on Ax!!
3. MPV MVP MVP MVP MVP MVP MVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Home run #38, a new career high, and RBI #100. None bigger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Of all the pitchers Roenicke has at his disposal....he chooses Parra? Good God.
5. Where do you play Gomez then? Unless you want to platoon Gamel and Aoki in Right, and Gomez and Schaffer in center. I'd be good with that.
6. I'm happy to see him playing better. If he can keep that ankle healthy, he should have a really good 2013 season. All of a sudden, our infield is looking pretty good with Hart, Weeks and Ramirez, and Segura on the way (I do feel he should start the season in AAA, and work on his stroke).
7. Thank you, reillymcshane. I looked on Youtube, and couldn't find a good, clean video of it. There were a few clips of poor quality....not befitting Robin
8. We're down 4 runs in the ninth, and Morgan swings and misses three times. He needs to be smarter than that, but he's not. He doesn't provide us anything that Schaffer can't do, and the kid might be better if he's given a chance. .243/.303/.308 is not good.
9. Schaffer on. Now if Aoki and Weeks could both get on to load them up for Brauny.....God, would that make me happy!
10. As far as I'm concerned, Nyjer Morgan doesn't need to ever play for this team again.
11. The clown car...I mean bullpen...hasn't helped us again today. Slowly getting back into it, and the happy honking crew gave up two more. This is a game we needed.
12. http://mlblogsbrewersbeat.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/ap01090103131.jpg Robin Yount got career hit #3000!!!!!! Yount's 3000th career hit was a single in the seventh inning of Cleveland Indian's pitcher Jose Mesa. Robin will always be my favorite baseball player. It's hard to believe it's been 20 years.
13. Brewers now 2 games under .500! Wow, what a team effort getting back into it!
14. Is Ramirez hurt? Why would you pinch hit Lucroy for him? I mean, Luc is having a great season, but A Ram is in the top 3 in the NL in extra base hits. I don't get it.
