  1. Sox are my third favorite team behind Pittsburgh and the Brewers. So, I'll have a reason to watch the Series, though my affinity for the team has a great deal more to do with the team's history (Williams, Yaz, Bobby Doerr, Johnny Pesky) than it does with the current team. I'm hoping they destroy the Dodgers, and should Puig and/or Machado get beaned by a fastball in someplace uncomfortable, I won't shed a tear. I hate being that guy, but I hate seeing hothead scumbags succeed.
  2. Sorry if I've been snippy guys. I'm just so frustrated. Been waiting so long, and to have one game, at home, to go to the Series, and put up this kind of offensive (and I don't mean hitting) performance is just....there are no words. I know I'm not alone. I just wanted to believe that for one night this team could surprise me, and rise to the occasion. There will be plenty of time for, "the future is bright" and, "we're ahead of schedule" talk. Right now, I just want to punch something.
  3. Plate discipline kills this team. Instead of showing patience, the Brewers go up there hacking, making the job of the opposing pitcher infinitely easier. We haven't drawn a single walk tonight. I know I'm probably not thinking as clearly as I normally would. I'm just tired of always being let down by the Brewers. I feel like Pop Fischer. I didn't need to win the Series. The pennant would have been enough, just to say that we were the best in the NL. A Series win would have been very tough against the Sox, but I'd have enjoyed just being there with the eyes of the baseball world watching us.
  4. I don't ever want to see Jeremy Jeffress in a Milwaukee Brewers uniform again. Period. Because his being on the roster tempts Craig Counsell into using him, and we cannot rely on him. Ever. All those who have defended him...only a Brewers offensive rally in game one of the NLDS kept him from blowing three post season games for us. 6 earned runs charged to him in 8 post season innings pitched. A 6.75 ERA. That's God awful. As soon as they brought him in, I knew what was going to happen.
  5. Now ARod whining about how Arcia doesn't know how to bunt. "He hit 3 HR in the regular season, and his not knowing how to bunt might have cost this team a World Championship. When I was a young shortstop, I knew how to bunt." Eat a D, ARod.
  6. Somehow, JJ has to get this out. But I don't care what happens, going forward, JJ cannot see the ninth in the post season again.
  7. All of you "yeah, Jeffress was great in the regular season", just stop. He blew a 3-0 9th inning lead against the Rockies, and we had to bail him out. He blew game 2. Now, he's got the bases loaded with one out. How is he still pitching?????? Wake up, Counsell!!!
  8. No confidence in Jeffress AT ALL. GET HIM THE FLIP OUT OF THE GAME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I understand our bullpen is our strength, but why did we take out Miley? He'd given up two hits, didn't walk anybody, and had tossed only 74 pitches through 5 2/3.
