  1. Brewers pitching has a way of curing whatever ails a struggling offense. The Yankees, outside of Judge, have been a hot mess offensively since the All Star break.
  2. Did Hiura fart in Counsell’s face or something? Also, I’d be shocked if Godzilla leaves Milwaukee without at least three home runs. Every time he faces one of our bullpen arms, my butthole is going to pucker.
  3. 0 for 9 with RISP against an old man. Anybody that thinks this is remotely a playoff team is kidding themselves.
  4. 0 for 5 with RISP. Wainright and his walker slowly effort to the dugout, happy as a clam. I really hate knowing that I’m going to have to watch not one, but two Hall of Famers the Cardinals acquired for a number more years. And the Cardinals fans will wax poetic about them.
  5. Hang on to your knickers. I don’t like seeing Arendao with a runner on.
  6. I can’t stand them either. I’m so tired of the gushing, especially about Molina. Johnny Bench he isn’t.
  7. Please, for the love of God. Stop. The constant grade school rhymes are not cute, and add nothing at all to the discussion.
  8. Consistently playing down to the level of significantly lesser teams is going to ultimately be our undoing. When we’re getting smacked around by the Pirates and Reds of the world, a major overhaul is needed. I also don’t get moving Yelich back to the #3 spot. Though he’s been demonstrating a little more power of late, his value comes as a top of the order guy with a high OBP. Instead, we have McCutchen, who couldn’t hit water falling into a pool, and Adames 1-2, with their .313 and .288 OBP. I just don’t understand Counsell anymore. I’m so beyond done with him.
  9. How do you figure? The Brewers were consistently rated as a top 3 rotation in all of baseball before opening day. An elite top three, a promising rookie, two decent back of the rotation guys. How much more did we need? Losing Peralta and Woodruff for extended periods didn’t help, but they’ve still been strong as a trio. The offense and bullpen, on the other hand..
  10. We’re 46-50 since May 21st. It’s amusing that you still think this sinking ship of a team has a chance to win the World Series.,
  11. Brewers have never been anything, and they never will be. And what a sucker I am to still be cheering for them.
  12. If I’m Woodruff, I’m absolutely pissed. Leave after 7 with a 6 to 1 lead, and the Brewers worthless pen blows yet another win. It’s just time for Counsell to leave. He’s worthless.
  13. I’m trying to find something positive to say about this team.
  14. Yeah, that 2.36 ERA over his last 14 starts…just terrible. ?
  15. The Brewers were 32-18 on May 30th. In the last three months, the Brewers have gone 36-42, and have been below .500 in that span losing a lot of games to some very bad teams. .462 baseball the last three months….doesn’t really feel like a pennant race, to me.
  16. The Milwaukee sports media are utterly feckless.
  17. I have no idea. Hiura is the guy I’m most excited about. I don’t know if that’s more because he had such potential, and feel so low, and seeing him hot again is a redemption of sorts….or, it’s because all the other options are terrible. At this point, I’m just looking for something….anything to hang my hat on. The 2022 Brewers are beginning to feel like season 8 of Game of Thrones.
  18. Burnes is great, but with these last few starts, I think he’s just thrown in the towel. I don’t think he cares anymore, and I can’t blame him. How many times in just the past month have one of our starters gone like 5 or 6 innings without giving up a single run, only to get a no decision because our pitiful offense can’t do anything. Wiodruff has been our best pitcher since his return. But soon he’ll get fed up, too. If our offense does’t stink, our manager passes away a win with inexplicable decisions. That first 35 game, or so, stretch to start the season seems like so long ago. I also agree with the sentiment that there’s no untouchable player on this roster. I don’t want to lose Burnes, Woodruff or Peralta, but a part of me wants to see those guys on a team that can support them. They deserve better.
  19. I’m a Brewers lifer. I’ve been a fan since 1979, and I’ll probably go to my grave still hoping to see my team in the Series once more. Losing…I’m used to it. But when when we were losing, and losing a lot…watching those games were far more enjoyable. We might go 70-92, but we knew that Geoff Jenkins, Jeromy Burnitz and Ritchie Sexon were going to deposit a lot of balls in the seats. This team, there’s very little to cheer about. The Milwaukee Brewers in 2022 are baseball’s version of having our fingernails pulled out. I hate feeling down about this team, but does anybody see a bright light at the end of the tunnel?
  20. If all this season accomplishes is Craig Counsell’s receiving a pink slip,,I’m good with that. We’re clearly going nowhere with him. How many games have his boneheaded decisions cost us this season?
  21. *****! This team is a steaming pile of cow flop in a dumpster on fire.
  22. This bullpen is like a fart that doesn’t dissipate.
