There just doesn't seem to be any excitement at Miller Park. Nobody cheering the team on. People just sitting there staring ahead like deer in headlight. Come on people, make some noise! -
This is what's driving me nuts. Not that we're playing bad baseball right now, but NOBODY ELSE THAT WE NEED TO LOSE IS LOOOOOOSING!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH The way I like to look at it, keep winning, and it won't matter what the rest of the teams in our division are doing.
-
Reds just won. Cardinals won their game. We've got to find a way in the ninth. Ramirez Davis Overbay They've got to do it. Braun not available to pinch hit.
-
Darn, we really needed that.
-
Aargh. I thought off the bat that would find the gap. Ok Luc. This is your forte.
-
That was perfect technique, too, wasn't it? They didn't have any chance to get him.
-
ATTA BOY Carlos! Beautiful single! There's some really nice baseball fundamentals. Gotta tip my hat to him.
-
Come on Rickie, park one in the seats!
-
Is Braun available to pinch hit tonight?
-
Wow, that ball girl was a little beefy.
-
I feel like pitchers made some adjustments in how they threw to him, and Jean just hasn't made the adjustments back. His approach at the plate always seems to be the same.
-
Wang? Really? We're down by 2, and we're putting Wang and his near 12 ERA in?
-
Ugly at bat by Segura.
-
Props to Lyle Overbay for his walk up music.
-
Joey Votto going on the DL. He's been a bust this season. I didn't do so hot drafting him at first, and Segura at shortstop.
-
Darn. A hit there would have been really nice. Lucroy with double #31, he's 2 off the Major League lead. 41 extra base hits on the season. That's pretty incredible production for a catcher. 5th in WAR entering the night.
-
Hmm. You're right. I wouldn't feel too badly if Herrera were sent packing. I don't know what he gives the team. Hermida has much more offensive potential.
-
Someone else would have to come off the 40-man roster; is Hellweg not on the 60-day DL yet? If Wang were put on the DL, that would free up a spot for Jeffress, wouldn't it? Scooter with a single just over Rollins. Brewers showing signs of life. We need to get this win.
-
I don't know a lot about Eugenio Velez. He's listed as a second baseman at Nashville. Can he play shortstop? Could we bring him up, and send Jean down for a while? Possible? What about bringing Hermida up for a spell as the 4th outfielder?
-
Woo hoo, 2 run home run Mark Reynolds! Down by 2. Let's go, Crew!
-
What are the chances that Jeffress is brought up in the second half. I haven't had a chance to catch him pitching yet as I haven't signed up for milb.com yet. But his stats are looking good at Nashville. He's 4-1 with a 1.72 ERA, 40Ks in 36 IP and a 1.1475 WHIP. He could be a nice long reliever. Bring him up, put Nelson in the rotation, put Wang on the DL.

Lol I'm sorry, but that's true. I don't like being negative. Period. And if the Brewers had the discipline my local high school team had, I wouldn't be.
-
I hate being negative, but I'm simply dumbfounded by how bad this team is. Forget the record, this was a series I figured we could sweep, or at least win 3 out of 4. After seeing these first two games, I don't know how we avoid getting swept. I've watched a lot of bad Packer and Brewer teams in my life. But I've never seen a Brewer or Packer team in the position this team was a week ago, and just completely piss their season away. This team has quit. And I'm disgusted by the performances this team is putting forward.
-
I'm starting to understand. I'm getting an ulcer.
