  1. Ok, I'm a little extra cranky this week because there was no Game of Thrones on Sunday. But I don't think my ire is misplaced. Kintzler has been just awful lately. When Schroeder said that Kintzler has been pitching well lately, I had to laugh.
  2. Bleeping Kintzler. Can this guy ever make it through an outing without giving up a run??
  3. He has Gallardo back out for the 7th. He already has 95 pitches. Is this wise??
  4. All Star voting: Lucroy fourth among catchers. Braun third among outfielders.. Gomez sixth among outfielders. Ramirez second among third basemen. Segura fifth at shortstop. Voting ends July 3rd. Time for me to get the voting machine going.
  5. This was the first I'd seen Yo throw tonight, and it looked like he was laboring a little bit to me. I was wrong, and I'm happy to admit it. I'd much prefer him staying in there if at all possible.
  6. http://imageshack.com/a/img404/8030/207notsureifserious.jpg Not sure what the problem is with this? Walking three straight players, the catcher coming out twice to see him in the half inning. Yo looks to be ok right now, but he sure looked to be struggling, and with Gallardo's ankle still not at 100%, I wouldn't have risked putting him back out there. It could have very easily gone the other way, and Roenicke has a history of not pulling pitchers when he should have.
  7. Roenicke's not going to try and have him pitch another inning, is he?
  8. GET HIM OUT NOW! What is Roenicke waiting for? Walking three straight should be an indication to the manager that the pitcher is gassed. GET HIM OUT OF THERE!
  9. Looks like Braun is seeing the ball just fine. .909 OPS--when you consider what he's gone through with the thumb and oblique, he's doing pretty darned good. When that oblique heals, he'll be jacking them into the stands again.
  10. Wow, Jim Hunter did not sound happy at all, lol. I especially like him reading the promo for tomorrow's game. "against Yovani Gallardo, the guy who just got the game winning hit". That was great!
  11. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GALLARDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. I feel the concern here too...but it's hard to tell. I just don't think he's healthy watching his swings. WOW!!!! Lucky break on the double clutch!!! Now let's go home winners! Right now Braun is an expensive decoy. His swings look so unnatural. If I'm Melvin I tell him that he needs to make a decision once and for all on the thumb. It's not fair to the Brewers to pay him all that money if he's going to play like this. His thumb isn't the issue. He was playing with the thumb issue earlier in the year when he had a three home run and a two home run game. The oblique injury is what's sapping his power. He can't generate the torque he needs. The oblique will heal. He'll be fine.
