  1. Sigh. Bullpen's going to blow it again. I have a bad feeling. Thornburg and Peralta have given up one earned run combined in 12 1/3 IP, and will have nothing to show for it.
  2. This offense is just putrid right now. Take out the "offensive explosion" 8-5 win over Washington on Sunday, and we've scored 6 runs in the last 5 games including tonight.
  3. We better not see Axford tonight. I know if we do, he'll blow it again.
  4. I dropped Peralta from my fantasy team last night. You all can thank me now. :D
  5. Welp, a few positives tonight. Tyler Thornburg had a really nice start. Jonathan Lucroy and Jean Segura had a couple of hits each to help my fantasy team. Juan Francisco drove in both runs, but I can't really give him any credit after that awful error. And, I got to listen to Uecker. That's about it. Trying to focus on the positive, right?
  6. Francisco with a garbage time home run. 4-2. I wish I could get excited.
  7. Thornburg didn't deserve another no decision. Last two games, 12 inning pitched, no earned runs allowed, and nothing to show for it. Uecker is sounding really testy. "Need a couple of runners here, get back in this thing! Nothing else to do out here for four days, let's play some ball".
  8. The sad part is that none of this will get fixed, and we'll be seeing the same bad play next year. We'll get Braun back, maybe Corey Hart for one last hurrah. But we'll have the same defensive lapses. Attanasio will be convinced the problems with this team are the injuries, when really there are so many other things that need to be addressed. First and foremost is Doug Melvin and his drafting.
  9. LOL, this team is a comedy of errors. Slow grounder rolls under Bianchi's glove, two score. Then, throw to Weeks, and he whiffs on Francour. Well, good to see Roenicke isn't asleep. NOW you come out. Where were you on that double play a few innings ago.
  10. That will be the ball game. Thanks a lot, Axford, you jack___!
  11. Whew, any other park, and that's a home run for Posey. Ax can't find the strike zone. LOL, what a joke. 3-0, so they decide to intentionally walk Panda, and Axford throws the ball 5 feet over Lucroy's head. I keep saying it. Axford chokes under any kind of pressure.
  12. Ax walks the leadoff hitter, and now Posey is up. I can't look.
  13. 1-1 tie and the Ax man cometh. Let's hope the good Axford shows up tonight.
  14. Gomez is just killing us right now. He really needs a day or two off. He can't buy a hit. We're stranding runners at an alarming rate. Five left on in the last two innings.
  15. I've watched the replay ten times now. He looked out to me. It was very close, but he was out. Edit: after a few more replays, you might be right. I can't slow MLB.tv down, just rewind it. Very close. Roenicke could have at least made a stink about it. Would be nice to see some kind of enthusiasm from our skipper.
  16. Of #%^*^ing course. Double play. Rickie Weeks was batting .120 with RISP this season. Should have just left Scooter in there. Great job of managing, Ron.
  17. Rickie Weeks in for Scooter. Please, get a hit in the clutch.
  18. Good at bat, Jeff. From 0-2 to a free pass to first base. Loaded up for Scooter. Come on, Scoter, knock a ball into the seats! Let's get Tyler a win!
  19. Francisco redeemed himself somewhat with a double to the deepest part of the park. Just our luck though, it bounces into the seats, as Gindl would have scored. Ok Jeff, drive em in
  20. Leadoff double by Luc. Can we get him home? In 4 of our last 5 games, we've failed to score more than a run. Gomez flies out to right, now 0 for his last 17.
  21. Would have been nice if Thornburg could have gotten that bunt down to move Gennett over. I know the Brewers stink this year, but does nobody care that they're playing anymore? The game threads are pretty much empty. Come on, Jean! Drive that run in!
  22. Another error by Francisco. Good God, that's 12 in the 45 games since coming to Milwaukee. Every ball hit to him is an adventure. Despite Francisco's brain fart, Thornburg is able to limit the damage to one run. Now we need to get our offense going. Gaudin has already fanned 6 Brewers through 4. Let's score some runs!
  23. FOX Sports has released a list of players that have accepted 50 game bans, and no other Brewers. Good. Maybe now the Brewers can truly move on as a franchise.
