Had hockey tonight and just caught up with the game just now. Wow is what Thames doing just flat out amazing. So fun to watch.

Having the Brewers in contention could help or hurt this situation. One one hand, if they are in 1st or close to it, they might get even better offers to try to pry away Braun or Thames. On the other hand, if we are in that position, we will see whether or not Stearns/MA will be tempted to make the playoffs or not by holding onto those players and possibly adding a piece or two. -
Stantsy possibly coming back is huge get for the Blues. Allen's pads are great. Sometimes the simpler the better.

If Milone wasn't a lefty, he would've been out of out of the league awhile ago. The guy sucks. Garza will be back in that role after his next start more than likely and he should be. We are paying him a lot of money and if we are going to have one sucky starter, it might as well be a guy we are paying $10mil+

Seconded. Logically I think it makes sense to trade him, but emotionally I really want him to be a part of the next Brewers playoff run. Thirded? If that's the right phrasing. As lousy as it was for what Braun did it would be great to see it come full circle and he go out on a high note in Milwaukee and usher in the next great wave of Brewers baseball.

Different guys have to carry the team during many parts of the year if you want a playoff birth but what's Thames is doing right now is Bonds like.
