    Peterson did not need to be a Packer. Was he a great running back, of course. The Saints might get some production out of him but it won't be the AP we saw 3-4 years ago. That guy is gone. Glad we didn't go there as there are plenty of backs to grab in the draft and I like Montgomery back there anyways.

    Love that Braun is back in there today. After re-watching his at bat where the 3B made a nice play down the line to throw him out by a step, you could tell he had discomfort running down the line. Probably more of a precautionary thing with having scored 10 runs. Go get us back to .500 today boys!

    Exactly. If Scooter was league minimum he might still be on this team. The Brewers gambled by signing him, hoping he could be trade bait but no one took us up on it. Is what it is. Villar needs to play everyday, is the better player, and has more upside. None of that is debatable.

    I don't know about you guys but I had TT taking Justin Harrell 16th overall a decade ago.

    You would think just in general (and Reed fits), that we would be a good match for Pittsburg. Always tough doing division trades and the Jason Rogers for Trey Supak and Broxton deal might still have a bad taste in their mouths.

    Meh, you can put anyone out in positions and say they are "doing it." We'll see what this looks like come years end. I still have no problem with cutting him. I guess the one you could say he maybe should've been kept over is Aguilar. Time will tell.

    I actually have thought he's played pretty good as of late. Base running, defense, and bat is starting to get better.

    Peppers is so overrated. Would be a terrible first rounder. And if I'm wrong, well oh well.

    Well, that series went about as expected for the Brewers. Same ole, same ole. Need to rebound against the Reds and Braves to finish off this home stand with some wins.

    Glad he didn't swing at the pitch he struck out on or it would've been a DP ball. Looked awfully low.
