  1. I hope the Cubs make every wrong decision they possibly can going forward. I hope they sign Arrieta for big money and he's god awful. One can hope.
  2. Well, good thing the Masters is on today? Maybe I'll take a walk or something. This is a joke.
  3. I went there to play baseball. Never really cared much about their athletic teams before attending the school. I grew up 10 minutes from the campus but have just always been a bigger Badger fan when it comes to all sports. It's nothing against them by any means, as I root for them in situations like last night. But deep down, I just don't care all that much if they win or lose.
  4. Agreed. But what gives us, well some of us, concern is that he was terrible to end last season as well. Did people just figure him out? Because he doesn't have the "stuff" to blow by guys.
  5. Davies might find himself the odd mad out of this rotation if he isn't careful. He wasn't good to end last season and he's been downright awful to start this one.
  6. I used to be against this but for as much as even crappy players are costing these days, I completely understand this thought process from a team like the Brewers.
  7. It is when you're discussing them in a bench role. Maybe you want to knock this Brewers team but they have some pretty good depth on the roster. Intriguing players up and down it.
  8. It is getting old with some of these guys who even by the minor league numbers, they do warrant a call up.
  9. Well I'm glad Counsell, Steams and MA doesn't overreact the way that some fans do.
  10. So Braun has played 135, 140, 135 games the past three years and his stats have only improved in just about every category since 2014 but you see arrows going in two different directions because Puig has started off the season on a good note? Not saying that Puig might not be the better player in four years but it feels more like a guess on your part rather than any statistical reasoning.
  11. I agree somewhat but it's case by case too. Why start a possible ace like Hader's clock this year on a bad team? Now, guys like Woodruff and Lopez make zero sense to me why they're not getting the call up to replace a few of these bums. Your comment on Hader is eye-opening. They aren't a good team because they don't have guys like Hader. Final touches on development for talented players occurs in the major leagues not facing inferior hitters in the minor leagues. Hader is one of the guys expected to take this team from bad to good. How is he going to do that if you wait for the team to get good first? Doesn't make sense. Besides, they only need his services for a few starts now, and he can just be optioned back when Guerra returns. Well if he's only there for two starts how is he bringing this team from bad to good? Like I said, I wouldn't of done it with Hader but Lopez? Absolutely.
  12. Good ole Bruce. Good effort by the Dogs but Denver looked like the better team. Oh well, On Wisconsin anyways.
  13. We don't even know what the deal was so how can we make this assessment? Also, part time players don't play 140 games, bat third in your lineup and put up the numbers Braun does.
  14. Thank the lord. Yeah.. glad that is over with for now. I just can't see how if we took him off the 40 that another team would take home from us. He throws 86-88 and isn't very crafty.

  16. Both he and Pina have made good impressions in week one. Good to see.
  17. Don't even good teams have these guys? The Cubs trotted out that Anderson guy last night and I don't think much of him.
  18. Nick Ramirez with a win in Biloxi. Pitched a third of an inning.
  19. Suter just isn't very good. It's cool to see a guy like this get his shot but wouldn't belong on a contending team.
  20. Feels like the Cubs have two guys on base every time I flip back from watching hockey.
  21. I'm glad Strop isn't on our team. That hat is obnoxious.
  22. Just couldn't resist, could ya...had to back and edit and add that. Not looking for your sympathy, it's not 'poor me,' and I'm more than willing to drop it, this is pretty silly, I just refuse to be talked down to like a child without responding to it. Thats it. Yeah. Sure looks like you're dropping it. And you're right, I couldn't resist after your condescend comments towards me, just like I guess you can't resist either. Play on playa.
