    I don't see much difference between the two when it comes to drawing walks, both are pretty mediocre at it. I think in most years, the guy with the better batting average between the two will always be the guy with the better OBP that season. 3% difference is about 15 times reaching base in a year. So, yeah that is a difference. Also, which player is interested in being traded?

    Why would you put a PLUS outfielder at first base so that you can but a liability in the outfield... Hart will be in the outfield from now on.

    Seems to make more sense to put Gwynn in to play defense... So I'm not at all suprised he's DHing.

    Ok I know this is a little old but I was away from the computer but I didn't predict that it would be Parra's fault... I just merely observe the games we are all watching... That is what happens more often than not. Regardless of what some of you would like to admit, sending Parra back out there was a mistake. We had a chance to break this wide open and Yost opted for .2 more innings out of a starter.

    Lets see if the Yost/LaRussa one-upsmanship continues and Yost announces the same about Gagne today. These two are like the extremely poormans version of that Michael Jordan and Larry Bird commercial in the 90's.

    Is this what you were expecting from them? Yost is being brought into this because of his poor in-game management and poor all around decisions. The team needs a change. I'm not a huge fan of the manager making decisions by the flip of a coin.
