  1. I lost, but unless things turn around quick and we get some help, we all lose. Again.
  2. I like your style BrewerTerp. And I agree.
  3. I guess Melvin has probably made more good moves then blunders. I suppose at least one more year would be fine. Maybe he can assemble a good pen next year. And although we will lose CC and Ben, I feel if we can aquire a good #2 type starter to go with Yo (who might be better then Sheets anyway), Parra, Bush and Suppan we could be fine for starting pitching. On offense figure out 3B and get a REAL leadoff hitter to play somewhere.
  4. I actually think next season we will have a good team again. Yeah no CC or Ben, but we should still have a good rotation especially if we make a trade for a #2 type starter and I think our offense can put up runs again but we need a REAL leadoff hitter.
  5. Bernie, I love the positivity. I feel it to. The way I look at it, we are in it till be are out of it.
  6. Hopefully we at least win 2 in Cincy and there is still some hope.
  7. Yes it will, but winter brings spring. And spring brings baseball back, when your 0-0 and you can't wait to watch your team play another 162 games. It is a fantastic feeling.
  8. I have loved this franchise and followed them for to long to give up. Were still in a playoff spot chase and it is only the second time in years that we can say that. I was very ticked off when I saw Torres blow that lead today, but I have seen worse from this franchise. I'm still all in on this team because we are still in it. Lets go Brewers!
  9. Yeah go NATS! But Santana is pitching and that doesn't give me much hope that the Nats can win. But who knows we blew a 4 run lead in the 9th so anything is possible, right?
  10. Bush, Coffey, Gagne, Mota and McClung all pitched awesome today. The offense has shown some life. We have our next 6 against the Reds and Pirates.
  11. We need to get a real quality good closer next season. By trade or free agent.
  12. Jack Z. no doubt about it. He has earned the right to be a GM.
  13. Well I said going into this game that if we lost we still have a chance. And I still believe that even if the Mets win tonight. We have 6 coming up against the Reds and Pirates, I like our chances. It still seems nuts that Coffey, Gagne and Mota can pitch scoreless innings and Torres gives up 4. Maybe he shouldn't have run his mouth about how we were gonna catch the Cubs, it was karma. Uh, and now they have Trenni interview Soto. Excuse me while I puke.
  14. Man I hear you on that. I was asking myself that very question. How do you blow a 6-2 lead with you closer in the 9th. It's just so Brewers. Well I hope by some way we can sweep the Reds.
  15. I would say you couldn't put that pitch to Soto on a tee any better then that.
  16. Man if we lose this game I'm going to be very upset. I'm shocked, Bush didn't deserve this fate there goes win 10 out the window.
  17. I'm gonna be sick. Gagne and Mota good. Torres bad? What the heck.
  18. Alright come on, lets not mess around anymore here. Get these stinking out.
  19. Come on Salomon, lets nail this down.
  20. Another reason I am loving the post-Yost era. Sveum is managing for every win, not popularity or statistics. It's great to see.
  21. Small ball! Wow. Is anyone else not hearing sound on FSN?
  22. I think I owe Prince an apology. I have said some very negative things about him this season on this board and to other people I have talked Brewers with. But my God, he is hitting when it counts down the stretch here.
  23. Man Mota is on fire. Not sure the exact reason he was getting lit up earlier this season but he has figured it out and looks great.
