Sabathia has actually hit better then almost all of the position players this month. -
The Phillies to me just want this series more. They pitch Moyer and Myers on short rest. They pitch Lidge in non save situations to ensure easy 9th innings. They look like they are hustling and just playing harder.

I just hope some kind of magical thing happened to this team between the end of the first game and the start of this one. I would love if we could put up 5 or more runs.

That is a fantastic and probably very true silver lining. We might not be able to keep CC or Ben, but I have faith Mark will do anything in his power to make this team better.

I think Kremblas could have done a good job with the Brewers. To bad he won't get that chance. I suppose Don Money moves to AAA to be with the new group of youngsters? Gamel, Escobar and Salome.

Well, if there was ever a "must win" in a MLB game. I would have to say tonight is. Jeff Suppan (10-8, 4.63) vs. Brett Myers (9-11, 4.22) TV: FSN Radio: WTMJ 620 (Brewers Radio Network) Games like this are why we gave Suppan that big contract, hopefully he comes through. But if our offense puts up 3 runs or less again it might not matter how well Jeff pitches, unless he has a shutout in him.

If and when Yost is fired, I want someone who has never had a thing to do with the Brewers organization to become Manager. The only associated to this organization I would have accepted taking over the job was Frank Kremblas but they let him go, and why? Still not sure why.

Couldn't have said it better myself. If we lose tonight and our lead is gone, I will start to lean toward panic. But I'm trying my best to keep my level head. I hope we don't see that lineup from this afternoon tonight.

5 hits, 3 runs. That just won't cut it. We have only scored 5 runs once this month if I remember correctly. That is not going to win a lot of ball games. Bush pitched alright today, when your team can't score for you giving up 3 runs seems like a lot more.

Thanks for the info 1992casey. I just thought he sounded very professional and he came off as very prepared. His delivery was great and I wish I could have seen more of the game but I was gone. Quite better then Brian Anderson. As for Eric Karros, he is no better then Bill Schroeder.

I'm with you. Someone is going to catch fire, 8 guys don't go cold all at the same time for an entire month.Yeah, that is my thinking as well. I guess I also just don't see how me getting all worked up can help anything. I'm just trying to be a true optimist about the entire situation. A friend of mine texted me today when we went down 7-2 and said "They will finish 4th in the division and it's over." I told him I wasn't giving up that easy. I have been a fan to long and invested to much time and money into this team to just give up.
