  1. HBO TV series are amazing. Entourage, Sopranos and Flight of The Conchords are three of my favorite TV series ever.
  2. I always park at a friends house who lives like 10 minutes from the stadium then walk. That saves a bunch on parking.
  3. Agreed. Those are the three most likely candidates if we need to call up a pitcher.
  4. Suppan rolling today, nice to see. The thing that drives me nuts about Suppan is you never know which one will show up. The one today that also pitches this well against the Cubs and Reds earlier or the one against the Mets.
  5. 3-0, very nice. Keep it up plesae Soup.
  6. I would have loved to see Fielder knock Bako the hell out if there was a play.
  7. I might go and get a 8x10 signed or a mini helmet.
  8. I look forward to Gwynn coming back. So honestly when Cameron is back and Gwynn and Kapler are both healthy what happens? Does Gross go down to AAA? Do they trade someone? Should be very interesting.
  9. Getting a series win with a chance for a sweep tomorrow sounds great to me today. I'm still rather depressed about the Ben Sheets situation and the unknown of the severity of the injury.
  10. I have never felt so blah and sad after a win. But when you see one of the best pitchers in baseball leave the game after 5 shutout innings because of another injury it can almost make a grown man cry.
  11. I'm very worried and concerned, but I will try to be calm and wait till we have an official word on his next start and if he will or won't go on the DL. But this does indeed suck, I just don't understand why since 2004 he has not been able to avoid some kind of injury no matter how little or serious. I still love Sheets, he's so good but just can't stay healthy. Damn I'm sad.
  12. Are there lots of bobbleheads at these events? I found another Gagne minor league bobble it is from the San Antonio Missions. So that makes three. I just paid $25 for it. from someone off a bobblehead site I visit. Oh, that is sweet so now three minor league bobbles. Yeah if I remember there were bobbles there.
  13. bold prediction: gross has at least one extra base hit. Man I hope so. I'd much rather have Gwynn or Kapler in there but they are both hurt so Gross will have to do. Were down to almost only a week till Cameron comes back anyway so whatever.
  14. Given the way Counsell has hit latey I have no problem with him getting another start and batting leadoff giving Rickie a day off. Also Hart batting 5th is nice to see.
  15. Is Kapler healthy enough to play tonight?
  16. In Milwaukee its on 1250. Don't remember what time though.
  17. Yeah I also got that today, I'm thinking about. Hell $15 aint bad, maybe a little expensive for a guy like TGJ, but still not bad.
  18. I went when it was in Chicago a couple of years ago. It was a blast, so much cool stuff to see. I only wish I had more money to be able to spend there. Some guy had TONS of fitted hats like every MLB team old and new and I got a home Brewers 5950 cap from the interlocked "MB" logo of the mid 90's for like $15 brand new. Also picked up a 2001 UD Pros and Prospects Hardy and a 2003 Bowman Chrome Gwynn from a guy for $1. Lots of sweet deals and rare stuff to find there just gotta have a lot of time to search. Maybe I will have to head down there this year. I really want to find one of the two minor league Eric Gagne bobbles.
  19. Wow those 20 AB's must have been rather impressive.
  20. What does that mean? I know I'm a winner.
  21. Yeah Sheets has been throwing that pitch a few years now. Sometimes his will throw it more often then other times. If he could ever get it done like a Gagne or Santana type change he would almost be un-hittable with that fastball and curve.
  22. If he doesn't get that tonight I predict he will in his next start.
  23. Since his awful Opening Day performance, he's allowed one run in five appearances, I'm sure people will continue to dump on him, but he's doing the job. Yeah some will. Not me, I've been a big Gagne fan for years and I was very happy when we signed him. It's not all that often one of your favorite players in the league actually sign and play with your team. He has done a very good job I think, of course he didn't have good command on opening day and threw one bad pitch against the Reds but he has been fine.
  24. Yeah saw the E-60 interview tonight. He looked really bad, the only reason he came out and told Houston today was because the interview is airing this coming Tuesday.
