  1. Seems low-risk and could add depth. Nothing wrong with that.
  2. I usually mind my own business. Even if someone near me says something totally wrong I would rather not get in a fight with anyone that may take offense to me correcting them. If people around me engage in conversation with me then I will chime in when I see fit.
  3. Im torn on the Overbay deal. Mostly because we don't know what Zach Jackson quite has yet and Bush has been up and down and Gross has never gotten a chance to play everyday. That trade is very hard to judge, not sure if it was good or bad. (pared back nested quote --1992)
  4. If he does bad for one game I don't think it is gonna make a huge difference. If Ned would continue to trot out the "hot hand" like he did with Mench last season then it hurts.
  5. I would rather they know what they are talking about. But if they are attractive like Trenni or Erin Andrews and know what they are talking about that is a bonus. See Ann Carrol was not attractive to me and she stunk as a reporter/interviewer. (pared back long quote --1992)
  6. I kind of like Strange Brew for Gagne.
  7. Yeah it just seems stories like this have become more important to SC then highlights of games. I have been watching more of the FSN Final Score now since there show is all highlights but it is only a half hour.
  8. I would give Kapler the start Tuesday night against the righty Looper and see what happens. If he stinks it up start Gross the next night. If he produces, let him start the next night as well. Doesn't hurt to give it a shot.
  9. I'm already as sick of this story from the media as I am the story of the Olympic Torch.
  10. Chad, we'll always have that night your hit for the cycle in Milwaukee!
  11. Gagne shirt is close, art needs to get done Ross, this is the picture I was refering to. Is that what art you speak of? Of course with a Brewers hat though. http://art-barn.com/josh/newlywed/20071212_newgagne300.png?imgmax=800
  12. Trenni is great. I have been very impressed with her interview's and her little bits of info throughout the games. She is a welcomed addition and is not bad to glance at either.
  13. Its early I'm not worried at all about Braun or Fielder. As for Yost, I really have no complaints about him at all so far this year. Were 8-4 and have won both of our road series thus far. I feel great about that.
  14. I have no problem with Turnbow pitching in a tight game. Just as long as he starts the inning. Do not bring him in with men on base ever. And even though he struggled a bit today and got out of the inning I like Mota as our 8th inning guy. Overall the pen is pretty awesome, we just need to boot McClung out of there and get Bush as the long man.
  15. I would have to say that if we were not a good team we wouldn't have found away to come back and win this game. No way the Brewers of a few years ago win today. This team did and I'm very happy for that. When we were down 6-2 I thought, no way do we win today. Somehow it happened. Props to the bullpen today. Gagne now has more saves then blown saves which is awesome, knew he would be fine. Gabe Freaking Kapler, can't say much more then that.
  16. Say what you will about Kapler and I scratched my head when they signed him as well but small sample size or not right now he is flat out getting the job done.
  17. Although Gagne doesn't have the 97-98 fastball he once had he can still hit 94-95 and has such a good changeup and breaking ball that he can still get it done and be a top closer, which is exactly what I think he will show this season.
  18. Im very interested to see how much the Attanasio and Hall Track bobbles go for. Those should be very big ticket pieces.
  19. Yeah Eldrick had a good day getting to -5 but the guys near the top built there leads as well. Eldrick being 6 back would be a hell of a comeback on the final day. Can he do it? Sure he's Tiger Woods, but I don't think he will. Lefty had kind of a bad day. I guess if Eldrick can't make the comeback Sneadeker would be my choice to win the green jacket.
  20. Eric looked awesome today. I think as long as he mixes his change and curve with that fastball he can be filthy and very good. Just keep throwing what Kendall calls and all will be well.
  21. I like that idea jason. I wish I was going to that game so I could give him the standing ovation I think he deserves. I know some casual drunk moronic fans will boo but for the most part I hope he gets a nice hello from us Brewers fans. It is weird though seeing him in a Phillies uni wearing #10.
