I will stick to listening to 1250's show. I like Tim and Sparky. I don't care at all for any of the local guys on ESPN.

While I think the Reds will have a nice season I don't think they will be better then us or the Cubs. I guess I could care less what SI thinks. Sure it's nice to say "well SI picked us to win the division". But in the end I would rather actually win it.

I assume the cover folds out.
  4. BrewCrewForever
Sheets, Suppan, Parra, Bush, Villanueva. Does that seem right? Then Yo takes over for Parra or Villy when he comes off the DL?
  5. BrewCrewForever
I dunno when it actually is out but I found this on SI.com http://i.cnn.net/si/si_online/covers/images/2008/0331_large.jpg

Crazy! I can't believe we couldn't get anything for him so they just release him? Well I guess this means Parra and Villy both make the rotation.
  7. BrewCrewForever
Prince, with Ryan and Kendall close seconds. I just think Kendall seems like a guy who takes pitches doesn't swing at bad pitches and can go the other way with the ball.

He's nice to have around if Ned decides late in the season in an important game to have him plunk someone as retaliation. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

We'll see how long that lasts for sweet Lou.
  10. BrewCrewForever
Yeah it's pretty neat and a very rare thing in todays game. I'm quite proud of that.

I love Gagne, Sheets and Cameron.
  12. BrewCrewForever
Yes! TV game and Parra pitching, very happy about that.

One. Roundy's Yellow Mustard. I don't like it, it's the fiancee's. But I do have one bottle of Secret Stadium Sauce which is a must.

If I ever met 3TO I would thank him personally for the Branyan slam fest on opening day when he went deep twice against the Pirates.

This sucks, my thoughts go out to Cappy. Been one of my favorite Brewers since we traded for him. He has had a bad run of luck between the losing streak last season and now this. The guy is a good pitcher and a good guy overall. Also one hell of a competitor. I hope he can make a full recovery. I guess if there is any saving grace at all it is that Parra will get a shot to be our lefty in the rotation.

I have always liked Cabrera. Sure he has has some weight problems, but if he can channel that he will be fine. Just an awesome hitter who can do it all.

I have always liked Gagne. And now that he plays for my team I like him even more. I know he won't ever be the pitcher he was in LA but I still think he can save us 40+ games this season and keep the blown saves to a minimum. Until he starts getting shelled in real games I won't look to much into his spring performances.
  18. BrewCrewForever
No, its spring training. I take most of what happens with a grain of salt. It can make you think a little bit but in the end it doesn't count. They just need to be ready to really turn it on March 31.
  19. BrewCrewForever
That is pretty sweet. Hopefully Russell ventures to our community here and sees how big of a star he is to a lot of us.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Yeah a crime is what I would call it if he never goes in. To be near the top of every category for catchers and not be in is just not right. And yeah with all the respect he has from people around baseball at some point they have to right the wrong that is Simmons not in the Hall.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Well do you think Simba will ever get into Cooperstown? We all know he deserves it, why isn't he there? Can he still get in? I don't know how the voting all works would it have to be a veteran committee vote?
  22. BrewCrewForever
I think it will be close, but Badgers pull out a close one. I have UW in the elite 8 in my bracket. I got MU losing to Stanford today.

Im going to give Jenkins a standing ovation when I go to a Phillies game this season. He was one of the only reasons to watch a lot of bad Brewers teams in the mid to late 90's. Well him and Cirillo.

Tiger Woods is the sole reason I got clubs and started playing gold my freshman year in high school. It was right at the time he turned pro. I just got really interested in the game because of him. He is just amazing, his dominance is unlike any I have seen in any sport in my 25 years. Jordan was close, but I would still put Woods ahead of him. It's always a pleasure to watch any tourney on TV that Woods is in.
  25. BrewCrewForever
I would agree with that. Outside of Martin, Martinez, McCann, Posada, Mauer and Johjima I think Vinny could hang with any other catchers at the plate.
