We hit like crap against a rookie in his starting debut, so fo course against one of the best in the NL tonight we will rake all over. I hope.

That game ws ugly! Can we ever score runs off of stringing together hits and not just getting some HR's here and there? Hitting with RISP has to improve. Hope tonight we start that.

I to think Fielder should hit 3rd because he is hitting very well and pitchers are just pitching him garbage to get to either Miller/Moeller and then the pitcher. If you bat him 3rd they must pitch to him because Carlos is behind him. And yes Geoff got red hot last year while batting 5th. This should be lineup: 1. Brady Clark-CF 2. JJ Hardy-SS 3. Prince Fielder-1B 4. Carlos Lee-LF 5. Geoff Jenkins-RF 6. Rickie Weeks-2B 7.Corey Koskie/Bill Hall-3B 8. Damian Miller-C 9. Pitcher

Yeah I think we do okay against Marquis. I know Suppan just owns us as his own personal female dog. If Bush pitches like he did his first start and we hit no problem in this one. Sucks that there is no TV though, its okay Im grilling burgers out and will listen to Ueck and Jim call the action.

Totally agree with what Powell is saying that if JDLR has good command he has as good of pure stuff as anybody. Nice inning JDLR!

So nice to see Prince get the 3 hit game and a HR, get some of the haters off his back. And man anyone else notice that he seems to be doing fine at 1B? People were always ripping his D and he has made a lot of fine plays.

And lets not forget Zach Jakcson down in the minors! Someday he will be in that starting rotation.

Nice inning of work by Mr. Helling. Prince coming up! And then......Moeller.
  17. BrewCrewForever
    Nice K Rick!
  18. BrewCrewForever
    Davis out Helling in.
  19. BrewCrewForever
There you go Carlos! JJ scores. Bring Lee home Corey.
  20. BrewCrewForever
I think with DD pitch count getting high we may see our first look at either Fernandez or Helling this season.
  21. BrewCrewForever
No tv, 620am gotta listen to Ueck and Jim today, which is not a bad thing.
  22. BrewCrewForever
If it comes down to another save situation today, does Yost go with Turnbow again? Or possible to Kolb? or Wise?
  23. BrewCrewForever
Prince will not see a darn thing to hit today with Moeller and Davis behind him.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Davis pitched very well opening day and I expect more of the same today, hopefully with more run support. If Webb is on his game he is very tough with that sinker. Hopefully its sinking that well today and the Crew get some good licks in. This should be the first Chad Moeller start of the year as well, who knows maybe hell freezes over and Moeller produces some runs today.
  25. BrewCrewForever
I hope for more hits tomorrow from the Crew. Nice to see Prince hit one hard down the line. Bush was on fire.
