  1. Sorry to hear about this man. Really sucks, I would hate to be in that situation ever. I hope you get the iPod back somehow and the thief gets what is coming to him.
  2. I would also like a copy of the "Homestand" DVD. Willing to buy or trade. I do have a CC Sabathia bobble from this season I could part with. Let me know, thanks.
  3. Haha, yeah I am sure there are players that would kill to have a down year like Braun.
  4. Milwaukee Starting Catcher J. Lucroy Backup Catcher G. Kottaras Starting First Baseman C. McGehee Starting Second Baseman R. Weeks Backup Infielder L. Cruz Starting Third Baseman M. Gamel Starting Shortstop A. Escobar Backup Utility J. Inglett Starting Left Fielder R. Braun Starting Center Fielder L. Cain Backup Outfielder C. Dickerson Starting Right Fielder C. Hart Backup Outfielder B. Katin Starting Pitcher #1 Y. Gallardo Long Relief C. Villanueva Starting Pitcher #2 R. Wolf Middle Relief #1 L. Hawkins Starting Pitcher #3 (Fielder Deal) Middle Relief #2 T. Coffey Starting Pitcher #4 C. Narveson Middle Relief #3 M. Parra Starting Pitcher #5 M. Rogers Righthanded Setup K. Loe Closer J. Axford Lefthanded Setup Z. BraddockThis would be my team. A pitcher that comes back for Fielder stepping into the #3 or #2 spot in rotation. I keep Stetter at AAA and have Parra out of the pen where he has been better in his career. I go with McGehee at 1B and Gamel at 3B, but it is possible that McGehee stays at 3B, Hart goes to 1B and Gamel plays RF. McClendon and Kintzler are a phone call away at Nashville if any of our relief corps gets injured or are ineffective. We'll see. Just my guesses.
  5. How amazing is Ryan Braun? At one point he was batting .273, his OPS was under .800 and it looked like he had no shot at 30 HR and 100 RBI. If he can stay hot and hit 5 more dingers he could once again finish at 30/100. Not to mention a .300 BA and an OPS over .870. Not bad. Nice to see all the classy things the Brewers did for players yesterday. Just another reason to love this organization. And how about Lo Cain, finally HR #1.
  6. According to this great Q&A with Mark from January 2010 on the Baseball Prospectus site, Mark throws five pitches. 4-seam fastball, 2-seam fastball, slider, curve and change.
  7. Jeffress looked good tonight, lost his command bad for a moment but got it back. 2 solid IP. Watching Jeffress and Rogers pitch this September has been a real enjoyment during a tough season.
  8. Gamel can hit like crazy, when he is getting 4 PA's per day on a consistent basis. That is something he has not had this season during his September callup or in 2009 when he was up. I just hope in 2011 he can come in and prove it to any of the doubters out there. And personally I don't care if it while he is playing 3B, 1B or OF. I just want to see him hit.
  9. It is clear Rogers has great stuff, just got to command it. I'm sure he was a little too amped/nervous during that 1st inning. It's too bad because if he doesn't have that 30 pitch 1st he could have gone 4 easy and maybe 5. I hope in his start next week they let him go 80 pitches at least.
  10. According to Cory Provus on the radio broadcast, he was removed due to the injury to his foot after being HBP. If he is hurt and like Braun going to miss a few games, he really has the worst luck. Braun get's hit and the only silver lining to him missing games is Gamel will get a chance to play some LF. Now Gamel gets hit and he could be day to day giving more starts to (gasp) Gomez. Uggghhh.
  11. I was at the game tonight. Great outing by Yo, wish he could have finished off the 7th but Macha made the right move to pull him. I was excited to see Gamel play, made a nice catch in LF early in the game. He was pulled after getting hit, was he hurt? The back-to-back jacks by Weeks and Fielder was sweet! Also seeing Corey get to #30 for the first time in his career was cool. AS for the wave, I am not a big fan, but I do love and had to participate in the slow and super fast waves. Good times at my last Brewers game of 2010.
  12. I love watching how effortless it is for Jeremy Jeffress to throw 97.
  13. Their attendance is low, but they have some of the highest TV ratings in MLB. I still think if they got a new stadium more people would go. So they will drop their payroll below $50 mill. I bet they still compete because they are stacked with good young talent.
  14. Is there any Brewer you would like to see up less than Carlos Gomez with 2 outs in the 9th and the tying run on 3B? For me, there is no one.
  15. That graphic was crazy. Fielder with only 76 RBI this season. Wow.
  16. Jeffress and Rogers for sure, no question. I would have a tough time deciding between Lucroy and Cain though. I like them both a lot.
  17. I love McClendon. That is perfectly legal yet players complain about it.
  18. At least with Votto out Macha can't opt for a RHP pitcher to face him late in the game with two LHP (Braddock/Parra) available in the bullpen.
  19. Adding to what And That said, the Brewers bad infield defense bhind Garland and not pitching in Petco. Garland was helped big time by his defense and the park he pitched in.
  20. I called that HR Loe gave up to Votto. When you continue to pitch a guy like Loe as much as Macha has, that kind of stuff is going to happen. I understand that Loe is one of our best guys out of the pen, but give him a break once in awhile Kenny. Although, in less then two weeks Macha won't have to worry about making those decisions for the Brewers anymore.
  21. Tough game, Narveson had pitched very well as of late before today. Braun with the only Brewers highlights. Great catch and a nice 2 run bomb. Let's go whoop up on the Reds and Marlins on the last homestand.
  22. It sure would be a glimmer of hope for our rotation going into 2011 if Rogers can have two solid outings at the end of 2010. He seems to be healthy now, he just has to have command. If he can cut down walks, he could be darn good.
  23. A Uecker bobble? Sweet, I will for sure get tickets for that game.
  24. Damn, missed him by 1 day. I have tickets to Thursday's game. Which is okay I guess since Gallardo is pitching that day and I can watch Rogers on TV Friday in glorious HD.
