  1. Was this thread for real when it was started back in August? I mean, really? If Braun has a year like this the rest of his career I would be pretty happy. But I am sure he will have better years than this more often than not.
  2. I just hope that we hear on Tuesday that Macha's option will not be picked up and they can begin the search for their next Manager.
  3. I think Rogers could and should be in the rotation. But they would have to skip a lot of his starts to keep him around 150-160 IP in 2011. Which I think will be his limit since he went 126 in 2010. One of my biggest hopes for the 2011 roster is that some of the guys play above their career norms. Seems a lot of teams get guys to do that, but we hardly do. At least recently.
  4. If they feel he could go 180 innings that would be great and then I think they would for sure have him in the rotation. But with Mark I feel they may handle him with extreme kid gloves due to injury history and he might only increase up to 150 or 160 IP. I guess we'll see, either way I am super excited about watching him pitch.
  5. I think there is a chance. But I would keep Narveson over over Capuano if it came down to those two. I think Parra is going to be in the bullpen, so he won't be an issue for a starting spot.
  6. How the hell do they say that was a HR? Fire all these jokers.
  7. Did anyone try for Rogers or Jeffress during their call ups this September?
  8. I think the only real thing that could hold Rogers back from being in the starting rotation in 2011 is innings limits. 2009: 64.2 IP 2010: 126 IP So in 2011 you figure they might at least start him in AAA to monitor the innings more closely. What would be an acceptable jump in 2011 from 126 IP in 2010? That I am not real sure of.
  9. For me it has been Hart. But Weeks, Braun and Axford are not far behind.
  10. I did not see the beginning of the game. How did Rogers look? His line looks pretty good.
  11. A Rob Deer bobble would be epic. I would love to see that.
  12. Pretty cool, I'm still rocking my 30 GB video iPod. I have been thinking about getting a Touch for awhile now. Didn't know you could get an app that does that.
  13. On my way home from the gym around 6:30ish I heard some of Bob Costas in the booth with Uecker. As usual, hilarious. I think Uecker and Costas need to team up to do a MLB game once per week on TV. They are just fantastic together.
  14. A little off topic, but you can text message from an iPod Touch? That is awesome.
  15. Wow, I did not expect Gallardo to have such a stinker to end the season. Ouch.
  16. I hope they don't do a bobble of someone they have done before. Braun, Hart, Weeks, Hoffman, etc. If they don't do a Selig, a Attanasio would be sweet. Put it right next to my Doug Melvin.
  17. Loved it, can't wait for the "bottom" of the Tenth tomorrow night. Besides the stuff Bikeage mentioned, a good portion on the strike of 94'.
  18. Watching Ken Burns' "Baseball" Tenth Inning tonight. Pretty good so far.
  19. I'm following the game on Game Day, watching Ken Burns's "Baseball" the Tenth Inning. Pretty good so far. Corey has been unreal this season, never would have thought he could turn it around like he did.
  20. That salmon steak one and that dish with eggs. I miss "Bill's Grill".
  21. Brad Fischer might be a worse 3B coach than Chris Bando was. Wow.
  22. This would be my ideal list. Gallardo has to be a lock, I would think for sure one of McGehee/Wolf gets one, if not both. I would love a Cirillo. Got his Snappers bobble, but want a Brewers one of him. As long as Gallardo finally gets one, I will be happy with whoever else is on the list. Axford would be cool to.
  23. I think he will have a chance to compete for the job in ST. If he still looks the same as he does now, probably will start off at Nashville. I suppose he could also be a throw in on a big trade, that would not shock me.
