I think it happens Monday morning.Not that I am a Macha guy, but what would the point me in firing him this season now? Were done and out of it. Might as well finish out the season and start fresh in 2011. His contract was only good through this season anyway. -
This team knows how to suck the life out of me.

I kind of feel the same way. I never want the Brewers to lose, but the front office needs some kind of sign that this team is out of it and they need to re-tool and get ready for 2011.

It did seem odd how long Gerut has been out with a heel problem.

If you like simple comedies "She's Out of My League" is pretty good. Quite a few laugh out loud moments.

Maybe a sweep at home in a 4 game series tomorrow would be enough to show Mark and Doug we are sellers.

On a positive note, I am quite excited for that HD scoreboard next season.

I have the ticket stub from the game when Weeks and Fielder hit their 1st career HR's back in 2005. If I can get them to both sign it, any idea what that would be worth? I think I'm going to make a run at getting it done. I think it would be a sweet piece for my collection.

I would imagine we would have to give up a 5th starter in any deal with them to replace Sanchez or Bumgarner in there rotation. Would a package of Hart, Narveson/Bush/Capuano or even Parra + another piece be enough to bring back Bumgarner? That would be great if Hart and Narveson or Bush or Capunao could get Bumgarner. I hope they don't trade Hart for Sanchez, not a big fan of his. He is Manny Parra, but slightly better.

I wouldn't trade Lawrie for Davis. I would trade Lawrie for Hellickson or Garza though. And I really like Brett Lawrie, but if we could get a pitcher the caliber of Hellickson or Garza I think you have to make that deal. -
Wow, I do have to say. Joe Inglett is amazing. He hardly ever plays but comes up with pinch hit after pinch hit.

Macha sure likes to walk those bases loaded. He does it way too much. This team is pretty disgusting to watch right now. Especially our middle of our lineup. Fielder, Braun and McGehee have done basically nothing lately. Especially Braun.

Sanchez was the first pitcher to win a game since 1999 with 6+ walks and 3 wild pitches in a game. Yikes.

I think Ricky Gervais coming in to play David Brent would be fantastic, but I doubt he would do it. I just can't see him playing that character on an American show and I am not sure enough people who watch and are fans of the US version know who he is.
