  1. Bring up Lara as a clutch hitter. Rookies are reliable. That would be a good start.
  2. What is a deep run? Like last year? You betting on the Dodgers? Obviously, everyone would take the Dodgers against anyone in baseball.
  3. How about this. $100 bet. Brewers play 500 ball or better I win. Below you win.
  4. You don’t think the Brewers will leave this series with the lead in the division they have and think they are not the best team in the division?
  5. You don’t think the Brewers will leave this series with the lead in the division they have and think they are not the best team in the division?
  6. Is this for real? The Dodgers have a better record. How should the GM be held accountable?
  7. Nightmare? They picked up one game. These in game threads are crazy.
  8. Yeah I think the point was clutch, Pratt is a sub 600 OPS. Counting on a rookie to be clutch is insane.
  9. The original post was the Brewers need some clutch hitters. Lara is your choice?
  10. Who are you recommending that is clutch and available?
  11. Yup. He’s doing fantastic moving up and down the zone and changing speeds. 91-93 still plays.
  12. Bayern’s AB was not awful. Hit it hard to the right side.
  13. Chourio is fine. OPSing almost 900. That’s all star production.
  14. I also look at the Miz. If we are comparing him vs history and counting stats I just don’t see anyway possible he would ever qualify. I’m hoping MLB adjusts these “requirements “ at some point.
  15. Counting stats are going to be adjusted downward. Look at the average OPS and every hitting metric over the last 25 years. An 800 Ops will be equivalent to 900 as time goes on. My favorite player ever is Yount, however those players just don’t compare to the current players. It’s insane how much more skilled, conditioned, trained athletes are now in every single sport.
  16. Yes, sure, sure. Check out the previous message and then mine with quotes. It’s really not difficult.
  17. If it’s a hall of fame worthy hot take, it’s hard to forget. I definitely don’t take the game threads seriously. How can anyone?
  18. Who was the poster saying Chourio was rushed to the majors? Kid was the youngest player in the history of baseball with back to back 20/20 seasons. Sporting a 900 ops at 22. Some of our fan base has held highlight reel takes.
  19. Are we good again? Did we “compete” now that the Crew won? I will never forget a game thread last year, Brewers with the best record in baseball get down in a game early and a poster says “we suck”. The game threads are pure entertainment value.
