  1. Judging only the TV interview, his sister seemed to be holding up remarkably well considering the circumstances. I don't think I'd have handled it that well.
  2. Exactly Al. We either have a drinking problem or a very small bladder.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  3. A kid in my church confirmation class was named Guy Sinner.
  4. I was up in the Terrace in section 430 and most everyone around me was very well behaved. Some knucklehead started a fight in the Terrace Box below us and the police responded pretty quickly but other than that it wasn't as much of a drunken free for all as I've witnessed in the past. I mean, yeah plenty of people were trashed and acting stupid in the lots and there were 500 people in line for 5 Port O Potties but that's been the case for awhile now. I think the difficulty in getting tickets kept some of the bad element out of the actual game.
  5. Right, and their name and address is included with the e-mail. If you respond to the PayPal e-mail, it goes to the person that sent you the money. I always respond and say something like "thanks for your payment, your item will be in the mail tomorrow." Also, electronic transfer of funds from PayPal to your bank account doesn't cost you anything. Another thing is that if someone pays you by PayPal and they're using a credit card you have to have a merchant account. With this type of account PayPal charges you a small percentage of every selling transaction.
  6. This one from '02 was pretty bad.
  7. I think Texas is the fastest track on the circuit too. Good thing for the SAFER barrier.
  8. My ex wife somehow knows Mike McCarthy's fiancee.
  9. What happened? Uecker confused me with his description.
  10. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/gypcasino/bartman2.jpg
  11. I think at least some those people were probably watching an HDTV but the program that was on wasn't being broadcast in HD.
  12. I'll watch football at a bar but for some reason watching baseball doesn't appeal to me. The only way I'd do it is if it was the Brewers in the playoffs and it was an away game or if it was at home and I couldn't get tickets for some reason. Then I'd watch at one of the bars on Bluemound.
  13. Or booing the throw to a base because you think any move by the pitcher other than a pitch is a balk.
  14. OK, so they finally busted this out at last night's game. I'm not sure if it was a new video meant to look retro or the actual olde tyme video from yesteryear. And the funny thing is that I still couldn't figure out if they were saying "slopper", "slobber", or both. I believe they called the person the "two fisted slopper" but then referred to him as a "slobber." Anyone else catch this?
  15. Oh yeah, I agree. Some people just take it way too far. I pay taxes, I pay high ticket prices, I pay $7 for a beer. Well, then don't. Except for the taxes I guess. But stay home and save yourself and us the grief of your stupid bellyaching. Additionally, as far as heckling goes, I absolutely don't mind a heckler who's actually witty, clever, and humorous. The problem is that 95% of the drunk knobs engaged in it aren't. Not even a tiny bit.
  16. Yeah, it's just kind of pathetic that the Brewers is back in town for like three minutes and already some people are getting all worked up and booing like it's the Bradley Center and the Bucks are down 40 points to the Knicks. Enjoy your $10 seat and your hot dog and be glad the game doesn't count in the standings. Cripes, you're gonna give yourself ulcers before the first week is over.
  17. That must have been right below me. Was the guy with the Cubs jersey and the disco wig that they showed on the jumbotron part of that group? I'm all for him getting booed like he did.
  18. I was at the game last night and some guy behind me was heckling Suppan the whole time he was in. Then Turnbow came in and looked less than stellar and many people were booing. Yeah, the team looked pretty listless but come on. The season hasn't even started yet. Is it too much to ask that we hold off on the booing for awhile?
  19. I doubt it. There are still plenty of people who eschew traditional medical care because of their religious beliefs. Look at the Christian Scientists.
  20. I wonder why did they finally end up going to the hospital?
  21. Anybody have two for tonight's game? I'm looking to get a little closer than what they have available at the box office. I can meet in the Milwaukee area. Reply or send me a message. Thanks.
  22. The announced attendance was over 15K. They'll never say how many people were actually there though. Since they only announce paid attendance, it's always going to be over 13K (possibly in the 12s for a game or two) a game no matter what.
  23. Do you still have the ticket available?
  24. Thank you Pedro. It's very much appreciated.
