  1. ah shucks. last thing this team needs is another injury Edit language. JJK
  2. Who the hell does this clown think he is? He'll play whatever position the team tells him to play. He should be grateful that the Brewers still employ his sorry butt. Cut him
  3. I don't understand why a lot of fans are panicking. At some point the Brewers were going to go on a slump. Slumps are unavoidable. This is a good team. They had the best record in baseball for a reason. They took 2 out of 3 in St. Louis with bad lineups for a reason. Relax and just be patient. The season is just getting started.
  4. Maybe the Brewers should volunteer to play all of their home games on the road. Christ do they suck at home
  5. If this team is still in contention by July, then I see them going after a 1B if they haven't signed Morales. They may go after a LF too if Davis keeps playing poorly. I wouldn't be upset if they added another reliever. It never hurts to have an awesome and deep group of relieves. Last thing we want to see is K-Rod, Smith, Thornburg, or Kinztler gassed by August. It all depends on how healthy the roster is. You figure that Aramis, Braun, and Segura are eventually going to wake up and start hitting. None of those guys are producing at their normal levels. This silly thing of the team not hitting well at Miller Park is eventually going to come to an end as well.
  6. Was on YouTube and I found this. Makes me miss home a little bit.
  7. what the hell is it with the brewers and garbage teams from the nl west?? they never beat colorectal or the gardensnakes.
  8. If the Brewers are still contenders in July, do you see them going after players near the deadline? Who do you see them going after?
  9. Just put Garza on the DL and get it over with already. It's early in the year and the Brewers have big lead in the division. Now's the time to get everyone healthy.
  10. I agree. It's not necessary outside of special events. Even then I'd like to keep politics and patriotism out of sports completely. Outside of the olympics and other international sporting events like the World Cup, there shouldn't be any pre-game anthem singing or anything like that. It may be just me, but I feel like singing the anthem at every game cheapens its effect. An anthem should be inspiring. It tends to lose its special effect when its sung everyday. Let's not turn into the Soviet Union with the constant barrage of propaganda.
  11. True. All so called #4 and #5 starters have great games in them. After all, no pitcher makes it to the Bigs w/o being the best pitcher on his HS team and higher. The labels can be useful, but they aren't the gospel either. There are a few #5 pitchers that are very talented, but are only #5 in the rotation because the guys in front of them are awesome. I think Willy won't be labeled a #5 for much longer. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the #2 or #3 guy for the Brewers.
  12. would you consider giving K-Rod the night off? i'm concerned that he's being overused. Will Smith and Thornburg look like they could get the job done.
  13. who the heck is jackie burkhart and why did she just hit a home run off marco?
  14. I'm surprised that the Cards have gotten off to such a mediocre start. Wacha has been a bit weak to start the year. What do you with Garcia and Kelly? Do you take out Lynn and replace him with Kelly/Garcia? What do you with Wacha? I think the Reds are in for a mediocre season. I think they best they can do this year is reach 84 wins. Same goes for Pittsburgh. This is going to be a long battle between the Cards and Brewers. Hopefully the Brewers have built enough of a lead early to survive the war.
