  1. The Yankees are terrible for 2 months. Terrible. Barely holding on to the division.
  2. Brewers SP since ASB: Woodruff - 2.34 ERA, 7 GS, 42.1 IP, 48 K, 1.04 WHIP Peralta - 2.43 ERA, 6 GS, 29.2 IP, 23 K, 0.81 WHIP Lauer - 3.43 ERA, 7 GS, 39.1 IP, 29 K, 1.42 WHIP Ashby - 4.61 ERA, 5 GS, 27.1 IP, 33 K, 1.28 WHIP Burnes - 4.63 ERA, 8 GS, 44.2 IP, 51 K, 1.19 WHIP

  4. Can't tell if trolling or stupid...
  5. Mitchell now 2 for 17, a .133 BA with 7 strikeouts. 0 hits since his home run. Fits right in.
  6. They all just wanna be Craig's friend and it's so pathetic.
  7. Imagine thinking this team is anything more than mediocre. Mediocre is their ceiling.
  8. Yeah because after the Brewers used 1 they scored 3 runs and went up by 9.
  9. 3rd place out of the 3 sports stations in Milwaukee. Too many stations anyways for sports programming. Hell, Chicago only has 2 sports stations. Glad Tim is gunna be back at 97.3. All the others, good riddance, they were terrible.
  10. We went 1-5 vs Cincy and Pittsburgh 2 weeks ago. There are zero easy games for this team.
  11. He leads the team in OPS and murders righties. No reason he shouldn't be playing every game vs righties.
  12. Oh wow. Way to go. You're the least smelly poop in the toilet bowl.
  13. Win the first round first.
  14. MLB has released its postseason schedule. Game 1 of the World Series is Friday, Oct. 28. Game 7 would be Nov. 5. All four wild card series will be on three consecutive days, Oct. 7-9. Each division series starts Oct. 11. The NLCS starts Oct. 18 and the ALCS on Oct. 19. After expanding the postseason to 12 teams and the lockout-induced late start, MLB wanted to shorten the calendar. It did so by getting rid of some travel days. So no off-days between Games 4/5 in DS and Games 5/6 in LCS. Could affect strategy. And geography could be a nightmare. Examples: M's-Yankees ALDS. Seattle hosts Game 4 on Oct. 16, wins to force Game 5. Both teams fly from Seattle to New York and play Game 5 the next day, Oct. 17. Similar in NLCS with Mets and Dodgers. Games 3-7 are on five consecutive days -- including a cross-country flight. -Jeff Passan
  15. Pitch clock and shift elimination should make the game faster with more action. Hopefully. I don't know if it's my attention span changing but MLB regular season games are a chore to get thru. I mean today the Yanks and Cards had like a 4.5 hour 9 inning game. The game is always background noise for me these days. Just something to have on while doing other things. Kinda sad tbh. .
  16. Mark A has a European soccer team to buy. It's not rocket science tbh. https://www.google.com/amp/s/theathletic.com/3456391/2022/07/29/norwich-city-mark-attanasio-potential-investment/%3famp=1 Confidentiality agreements on all sides mean there is nothing on the record anywhere from either party detailing who is involved. Nor is there likely to be until the matter is completed, and it should be noted that is still some weeks away. Norwich have been keen to suggest they have interviewed “a number of potential purchasers”. However, the only party known to have visited Norwich is Attanasio, along with an entourage of seven that included his longstanding business associate, Richard Ressler, Attanasio’s two sons, Brewers officials and those tasked with brokering a deal. That took place during Norwich’s final Premier League game of last season — the 5-0 home loss to Tottenham. The only reason it became public knowledge was due to a canny photographer and a leaked guest list during their stay in Norfolk. Attanasio, a 64-year-old New Yorker, founded Crescent Capital Group in 1991. An asset management firm that specialises in higher-risk investments, it has its headquarters in Los Angeles, other offices in Boston, London and New York, and has £30billion ($36.3bn) of assets under management. Attanasio has owned the Brewers, based in Wisconsin in the United States’ Midwest, since 2005. The Athletic understands Attanasio’s party is the only one currently in dialogue with Norwich regarding Foulger’s shares."
  17. Trade one of the best relievers in baseball for a 31 year old reliever, a 30 year old failed prospect, and then two prospects outside of their top 5?
  18. That pitch actually clipped the top of the zone. And a pitch before that was a strike called a ball. Stop complaining.
  19. Craig arguing a strike down the middle being called a strike vs not flinching at the balk call last week is peak Clownsell.
  20. According to @fangraphs, Josh Hader had a WPA of -0.963 tonight. And by @Stathead, among single-inning pitchers, that's the 19th-worst performance since 1901.
