    How often are baseball players really that close to each other? Other than the umpire hanging over the catcher's shoulder (good excuse to try automated balls/strikes for a shortened season) and the occasional holding the runner on at 1B, baseball players really aren't getting close to each other much less contacting each other. Maybe shorten the batter's box to create a little more room between the batter and catcher. Automate balls/strikes, space out in the dugout and bullpen, maybe ban holding runners at 1B and instead have a limit of how far a runner can lead off. Fairly low risk for transmission. Lol this can't be a serious post.

    PBS and Mecca are nice, if you love being ripped off. Both those places are full of obnoxious drunks, the food sucks, the drinks ridiculously overpriced and the service is terrible. So so so many better places to go around downtown.

How can teams build going forward without knowing what kind of baseball is being used? Im done with the NFL and NBA and I love baseball but this bs is getting to be too much. Are they really going to a 3 battle minimum next year? Manfred is ruining the game imo. The auto walk. 3 batter minimum. Aren't they looking at putting runners on to start an inning in extras? The older I get the more I hate sports. There, that's my get off my lawn rant.

    Oh you mean the team that was 10th in runs in the National League and 19th in all of baseball has trouble scoring in the playoffs? No way... They have scored 2 runs in their last 33 innings, going back to the 4th inning of game 5 vs Atlanta, and both those runs were on misplays in the outfield!!

    When, in the 9th? No one was up in the pen. CC was going to win or lose with Hader, and he lost. A hefty part of the blame belongs to CC in this one. Hader didn't have it, and most of us knew it, too bad the guy calling the shots didn't. Uhhh Lyles was warming as Hader was choking.

    Josh Turnbow or Josh Axford? Threw 30 pitches. 14 for strikes and that's counting some terrible swings out of the zone by the Nationals. He managed to screw our season twice in 4 days. Impressive.
