Brewers Player Dev‏ @BrewersPD 23s24 seconds ago We've also signed OF Michael Choice to a minor league contract and assigned him to Biloxi. Looks like Roache's spot is taken.

Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 2h2 hours ago Brewers No. 21 prospect Freddy Peralta 87-90 FB, SL 77-78 for @CarolinaMudcats in first 2 innings Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 1h1 hour ago Corey Ray is really scuffling right now. Swinging through 90-91 mph fastballs in all quadrants. Just straight up missing them #Brewers Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 60m60 minutes ago Freddy Peralta reached back for a bit more in the fourth. FB 90-93, SL 81 there. #Brewers No. 21 prospect is thru 4 IP with one hit allowed Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 35m35 minutes ago Freddy Peralta is dealing. Has a two-hitter thru 5 for @CarolinaMudcats Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 18m18 minutes ago Marcos Diplan is in for @CarolinaMudcats and struggling. FB 92-95, SL 87-88, but SL hangs and is getting crushed #Brewers Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 2m2 minutes ago Been to a few @CarolinaMudcats games, honestly Jake Gatewood has been their best position player each time. Good ABs, hard contact, great D Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 12s13 seconds ago Gatewood just outperforming Ray, Diaz, Clark, etc at this point, both on paper and in person. We'll see how it holds up rest of the year Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 36s36 seconds ago Corey Ray just struck out for the third time today, this time with the bases loaded. He has 9 strikeouts in his last 17 at-bats #Brewers Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 22m22 minutes ago Corey Ray redeems himself a bit with an RBI double in the 8th. Carolina leads Down East 7-5 in what's been a seesaw game Kyle Glaser‏Verified account @KyleAGlaser 7s8 seconds ago And Jake Gatewood makes a sweet over the head catch to end it. Carolina 9, Down East 7, final

I hate to be the one to say it but... FINALLY! Happy their moving on. The splits were always baffling.

Baseball America just mocked Jeren Kendall to the Brewers in their second mock. The full mock draft can be found below. http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/mock-draft-2-0-brendan-mckay-hunter-greene-lead-still-wide-open-draft/#hZjOQ7CFhB58s3go.97

James Anderson‏ @RealJRAnderson 2m2 minutes ago They have a few pretty good ones. Guessing Stearns is asking for Alvarez, but they might have to meet in middle w/ Buehler++ or White+++.

Bernie Pleskoff‏Verified account @BerniePleskoff 16m16 minutes ago Braun would be a tremendous asset for the #Dodgers. But the #Brewers have to get pitching prospect(s) in return.

Bernie Pleskoff‏Verified account @BerniePleskoff 40s41 seconds ago Buzz about #Brewers trading Ryan Braun to the #Dodgers is heating up again.

Todd Rosiak‏Verified account @Todd_Rosiak 1m1 minute ago Brewers farm director Tom Flanagan said Wisconsin OF Monte Harrison escaped serious injury after being hit in face by a pitch last night. Todd Rosiak‏Verified account @Todd_Rosiak 18s18 seconds ago Harrison will be re-examined but is considered day to day. Suffered a cut to his lip and some swelling. “Very fortunate,” Flanagan said.

Has anyone seen any updates on Brinson/Ray/Kirby? Thanks!

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 21s21 seconds ago More Tom Retweeted Matthew Zager It obviously involves the pitching. That’s why we have been given only the first two starters.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 1m1 minute ago Leading candidates among NRIs are Ivan De Jesus Jr. and Rob Scahill. But wouldn’t be surprised if more moves coming.

He didn't catch Peralta.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 7s8 seconds ago Almost certain to get more comings and goings on #Brewers roster today. Still haven’t been given Nos. 3-5 starters. A reason for that.

Brewers Player Dev‏ @BrewersPD 10s10 seconds ago Player releases: OF Nick Cain, 1B Cody Decker, LHP Mitch Lambson, LHP Cesar Jimenez, 1B Tyrone Perry, RHP Kaleb Earls, & RHP Alex Farina.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 37m37 minutes ago Tom Retweeted C. Trent Rosecrans And our first big news of the day for #Brewers roster. This, to me, implies something else is also up.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 1m1 minute ago More Stearns said he didn’t see ABs for Gennett at MLB level or AAA, which is why he wasn’t optioned. Knows $2.5 million off books as well.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 38s39 seconds ago Stearns said overall middle infield depth in organization worked against Gennett at this stage. Tom‏ @Haudricourt 41s41 seconds ago Stearns just told Gennett the news and said conversations like that are always “challenging” because of shock value to player of claim.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 8s8 seconds ago Scooter Gennett had a minor league option remaining so it is telling that #Brewers placed him on waivers. It opens spot on 40-man roster.

C. Trent Rosecrans‏Verified account Reds have claimed IF Scooter Gennett off of waivers from the Brewers Milwaukee Brewers‏Verified account @Brewers 51s52 seconds ago 2B Scooter Gennett has been claimed off waivers by Cincinnati.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 54s54 seconds ago Counsell told us something that already was apparent. C Andrew Susac likely to open season on DL. Hasn’t played in two weeks.

Tom‏ @Haudricourt 3m3 minutes ago So, all we got on #Brewers rotation is that Zach Davies is No. 2. Counsell said more news later today. Sounds like stuff going on. Tom‏ @Haudricourt 1m1 minute ago With Peralta staying back to pitch Thursday in AZ, he appeared lined up to be No. 3 #Brewers starter. We wait for the other starters.
