  1. Lowest exit velocity of any starter Fair enough. I’ll admit having it come in at 80 probably doesn’t help it leave at 100. But not a lot of rockets hit off him.
  2. Speaking of exit velocity.... Braun with 105 to the opposite field. Nice AB.
  3. Lowest exit velocity of any starter It's a wonder he's not the front runner for the Cy Young. He said he probably gives up a lot of hard contact. I pointed out a stat that shows that’s not the case. Don’t really need the sarcasm just because you don’t agree.
  4. Nice defensive play once again by Suter. Hopefully he’s ok after that hit him right in the chest. And hopefully everyone in the crowd is ok after dodging that bat.
  5. Big series, not very reassuring pitching matchups. Cards got a solid rotation, so would make a series win all the more impressive.
  6. We’ve started to have shorter leashes with guys before sending them down. Probably time for Logan to go try to figure it out in AAA.
  7. Our offense has answered every deficit lately. Seems like anytime we have fallen behind we respond within an inning.
  8. A fly out??? Gamecast breaks down the batting average into a 9 square grid of the strike zone. Sogard is .125 or less in 8 of the 9 grids, but does hit .375 on pitches left exactly dead center in the zone.... No he made a great catch in foul territory, that's what I was meaning. I'm not saying I'm a huge Sogard fan or something but being new to this board I find he has been the recipient of a disproportionate amount of vitriol. He had a 3/4 game vs the Cards in April. Outside of that he's hitting .068 on the season.... I think it's actually pretty proportionate.
  9. A fly out??? Gamecast breaks down the batting average into a 9 square grid of the strike zone. Sogard is .125 or less in 8 of the 9 grids, but does hit .375 on pitches left exactly dead center in the zone....
  10. Spoiler alert... Gamecast was still on the Pina AB, lol
  11. I'm only able to watch on gamecast right now, but a Santana line out and a Villar 7 pitch AB strike out. Without actually seeing them, that still seems like decent AB's.
  12. Maybe Counsel reads Brewerfan and likes to start Sogard just to "stir the pot"....
  13. Found out the Brewers can score 11 runs in the time it takes me to mow my lawn. And 2 in the time it took to type that.
  14. He was going between 60 and 65 pitches. May need that today.
  15. Nice long inning here gives Chase a little more time to rest after the first inning as well.
  16. He's been a little off. He said could've been ball 4 after a 2-2 pitch.
  17. Aguilar in a little funk. Two hit game the other day, but can't be real good average the past week or so.
  18. Glad Vargas is willing to even things out. Now a hit or three and we are back in it.
