  1. [sarcasm]Dang it Pina, need to get out of the way with Sogard behind you!!!![/sarcasm]
  2. The leadoff double has to score here with rain looming.
  3. Don’t expect web gems from Braun these days but that was a nice diving catch.
  4. A pitcher will most likely go down when Thames activated. Sogard prolly safe till Saladino is healthy.
  5. Is there any rain scenario that includes completely starting the game over?
  6. Aguilar takes longer to get in the box than any player I've seen. It's quite the routine he has to go through the first time he comes up.
  7. Every time Woodruff has started I have waited for a sign that he’s ready to take a rotation spot, but it just hasn’t come. I thought he would be a lot better than what he’s shown so far. It has to be tough to bounce from bullpen to AAA to rotation, but hopefully he puts together a solid outing today.
  8. At the very least we’ve made him throw a ton of pitches this inning. A clutch hit here would be welcomed though.
  9. Nothing like a couple crooked numbers to bust out of a slump. Nice start! Kingery might not be a great 3 hole hitter right now, but he will be in time, has a lot of talent.
  10. When I was eating lunch I got to see 2 AB's and 17 throws to first base...
  11. I also think Aguilar is going to revert back to "solid bench player, not starter" type numbers. But last time I posted that he went 3x3
  12. Logan coming back put Jennings into a “pitch full innings” role. He did once in a while early, but was also Loogyish early on. If he throws full innings against righties often he’s going to get knocked around once in a while. Logan needs to go and Jennings needs to be more of a Loogy type guy.
  13. Early for scoreboard watching, but the Cubs and Cards winning makes it worse.
  14. I was taught you couldn’t tap the ball in and out of your glove as a pitcher. Essentially could only come out of the glove one time. Albers has a little tap, and I’ve noticed a few guys lately that do it a lot. Anyone know if this is actually a rule?
  15. I’ve decided I like the powder blues on some people... some not so much. Doesn’t look too flattering on Albers.
  16. I think Villar was safe but don’t think it’s clear enough to be over turned.
  17. Read that he was shut down for a 10 day break, and just resumed throwing off flat ground. Looking like a post all-star game return at best
  18. We hit those two but miss most teams aces for next handful of series.
  19. I get they happen, doesn't make walking the 9 hole hitter any less annoying.
  20. Walking anyone in this series not named Abreu is annoying.
  21. Kratz AB strike two was a curveball down and in, and he missed it by a foot. Next pitch almost identical spot and he hits it out, lol.
  22. Totally agree. They needed to have him in everyday to ride out the hot streak, but he’s been cooling for quite some time now.
  23. Just got in, did Shaw bunt against a shift? I wish they would more, just to make them stop shifting so drastically.
