  1. Oh come on! Either he can play or he can’t. We don’t need to stop the game every 2 pitches.
  2. Bunt with the 3B playing that far in just giving away an out on 1 pitch. Caminero proved he can move on the Pratt play.
  3. We dont sweep the Dodgers without them. It’s baseball, anyone can look great or terrible for 3 game stretches. They can carry us when they’re hot, but both are streaky and have been all year.
  4. Murphy looked like he was gonna charge the mound. Can’t be hitting his gamer!
  5. Nice!!!! There’s a 0 put up by Miz, now get some runs and put the pressure on them!
  6. I’m WAY more nervous tonight than last night. If we don’t win this Miz start TB going to actually have a glimpse of hope.
  7. Not saying you shouldn’t watch tonight, but am saying if we lose tonight, maybe your busy for game 6….
  8. He didn't look fine the other night, gave up a run in an inning and was sitting 90-92 with his fastball. He's a shell of his former self and has zero ability to pitch on back to back days. Patrick or Anderson would have looked better coming out of the pen than Drohan. Both of those guys are used to working out of the pen, and used to working back to back days. They would have provided us a lot more flexibility than what Woody brings. He's a great feel good story, but him being on the roster last night absolutely had some impact on that game. Is it enough to cost us the series, no, it shouldn't be, but if Anderson or Patrick are on the roster I truly believe they pitch before Drohan last night, and are much more comfortable coming into that situation.
  9. Miz pitched out of the pen last year... in the post-season. There are bigger issues last night than not using Miz, but you can't act like he's never done it before. He not only has relief experience, but post-season relief experience.
  10. Watching replays, adding to my misery which I shouldn't be, but Bauers needs to make that play on the Ortiz throw. That's not some sort of weird hop off a lip, that was a clean bounce and a play that MLB first basemen have to make. I love what Bauers has done for us this year, and we are probably not in this situation without him. In the same breath, I want nothing to do with a big money long term deal for him. Enough dwelling on the past, time to flush it and move on to tonight.
  11. Didn't dawn on me last night even, but man I would've been happy to seen Grant Anderson coming out of that pen rather than Drohan. I thought I saw Priester in the dugout last night, I wonder if guys like Anderson and Patrick are on a "taxi" squad of sorts incase someone gets hurt and are allowed to at least be around the team. I would hope so, but I haven't seen either of them. The loss sucks for Cooper Pratt more than anyone, he would have been immortalized in Brewers lore had we hung on to win. I get both sides of the Miz argument, but having seen Yamamoto and Sale close out the WS in previous years successfully, I'm still convinced he would have been the best choice.
  12. I doubt we are throwing Miz and they’ve already said it won’t be Rasmussen.
  13. If he wasn’t up I’m assuming he’s starting tomorrow. If he was available then his stuff plays better as a closer than Drohan. The plan must be Harrison tomorrow and Miz at home.
