Just saw online you need less than 50 innings pitched to be eligible for rookie of the year and Priester had 50.1. Not sure if that’s accurate, but that really sucks if he missed it by .1 innings.

Brewers Trade Aaron Civale To White Sox For Andrew Vaughn

Civale has 17 scoreless innings over his last 3 starts. He’s holding up his side of the trade as well. For now looks like a trade that works for both sides. -

What is one big move that you want to see? There’s not a lot of big names available that fit our needs that I can see working out.

Kwan would be a good add with his years of control. Adding a bullpen arm would be helpful as well. We have Megil, Uribe, and then a big drop. I don’t trust Mears or Koening in the 7th inning of a one run playoff game.

Murphy not willing to hold his best players accountable? Other guys have been publicly benched at times this year, but won’t sit Contreras the last 3 innings of a blowout when he loafs down the line and costs the team a baserunner????

If he’s safe it should be a pinch runner. No reason to be jogging down the line.

Third start in a row Freddy hasn’t looked good. Even only allowing 1 run vs the Marlins he never looked comfortable. Hopefully they figure out what the issue is soon.

Probably has a lot more to do with it being a big game and he’s only been here 2 days to learn the staff. Don’t need to have Freddy face the Cubs throwing to a new catcher.
