  1. The defense showed signs of promise for sure, but the win was a perfect combo of bad weather and playing maybe the only Big 10 team that we can just physically dominate in the trenches. Washington just not built as a physical grind it out football team. Their roster construction still has a lot of Pac 12 vibes to it. I don't see any path to a functional offense with the roster we currently have.
  2. Yep, completely unorganized. Can’t even communicate to spike the ball. If running a play there was intentional then it’s just a horrible decision. You’re on your 4th QB, just spike it and let him call a play in the huddle.
  3. 4:00 left in 2nd quarter and Washington has now completed more passes to Badgers players than Badgers QB’s have…
  4. This freshman QB doesn’t look like he’s much of a threat to throw the football down the field. He plays with some emotion and fire though, a little shot in the arm to the energy level.
  5. College kickers should be able to kick a 48 yard FG. What is this, QB 4 or 5?
  6. Kuzma is easily my least favorite Bucks player of all time. It’s not even one thing, everything he does is cringy to me.
  7. Really nice 2nd half after the mistakes early in the game. Wilson running well here at the end, good for him to be able to spell Jacobs a little more than what he had been.
  8. Kind of surprising that Favre had 20 straight completions at one point, but Rodgers never did it.
  9. Should've been a homer and taken Kraft in my fantasy leagues. What a season he's turning in.
  10. Pittsburgh looks like a great atmosphere to take in a game, it's on my bucket list of stadiums to visit at some point.
  11. Parsons is a beast, man is he fun to watch late in games. Can't believe that wasn't offsetting, yea Herbig started it, but looked like a couple Packers threw punches during that scrum.
  12. I agree we need at least one more corner, but we added 2 receivers (Golden and Savion) and we have a very functional backup running back. Wilson looks pretty explosive when he gets touches. I feel like 2 of those 3 complaints sort of miss the mark. Fully agree he left us in a bad spot at CB though, and we probably need to go add one through a trade in season now.
  13. BRING BACK THE OTHER GUY!
  14. That 4th down play pretty much summed up the Badgers season. They actually look competent for a couple drives, at least defensively and then fumble the snap on 4th and 1. Just can't get out of their own way. Defense looks pretty good so far though.
  15. I just don’t see Woody signing a 1 year deal at this point in his career. He’ll take the free 10 million from the Brewers and someone will give him a 3 year deal this winter.
  16. I was a wreck during this game, couldn’t post live. Just so much emotion tied into this game with facing Counsel and the Cubs, having a 2-0 lead end up in game 5. The last out was essentially stress relief, such a huge win for the franchise. Getting 5.2 innings from rookies in game 5 is crazy! Bring on the Dodgers! If we lose now I’ll be disappointed, but no where near the absolute punt in the nuts losing tonight would’ve been!
  17. I don't think there's been a game with this much emotional investment on the line in my lifetime. Playing your rivals, Counsel as the manager, a series you were up 2-0, and a season with a historic run of success. Whatever sequence of pitchers that they trot out there, I have some belief they will at least keep us in the game. We need our offense to step up, I don't think you win this one with less than 4 runs. It's going to be euphoric or absolutely soul crushing on Saturday night.... can't wait!
  18. Down 3 before I got home. I know I was in the minority, but I will die on this hill.... Freddy should have started game 5 at home if needed. If we lost tonight with our ace going at home in game 5 you still feel good about it. Lose tonight with Freddy on the mound and that's probably the season. Home - (9-1) 1.77 Road - (8-5) 3.71
  19. I firmly believe we should have saved Freddy for game 5 at home if needed, but now let’s go finish it tonight! This makes tonight’s game all that more nerve wracking. It feels like a must win now, which puts the pressure on us. If we go back home for a bullpen game in game 5 I think we’re toast. We need Freddy to be an ace tonight in a hostile environment!
  20. Have they announced Freddy for tomorrow? I honestly prefer Ashby and bullpen tomorrow and Freddy at home for game 5 if needed. Then if we can pull off a win tomorrow Freddy goes game 1 next series. If we throw Freddy and lose tomorrow you’re hanging on by a thread at home. If this goes 5 I want my ace throwing game 5!
  21. Best quote I saw called Miz a “Giraffey Bastard”.
  22. Was hoping to hear a “Suck it Craig” or “Welcome back Greg” chant this series.
  23. Kind of funny, the Cubs board was complaining they are pro Brewers. Matter of perception I guess.
  24. What a freaking outing from Miz!!!!
  25. Now it’s been long enough down time I probably go to another reliever too.
