    Jackson walking ok, if it is a hamstring hopefully it’s a minor one and similar timeframe to Frelick.

    No, just wanted him to pitch the 8th and 9th. When those posts were made, the broadcast had just shown Ashby warming up in the pen.

    No, he was on paternity leave the 11th-14th. He’s pitched twice since then and was just warming up in the pen. Glad they sat him down and are using Meyers.

    Not sure why we need to use Ashby in an 8 run game. Use Myers or send him back down. Pen gets used enough as it is, can’t operate a guy short essentially.

    Crawford having a rough day. He’s had a lot of tough plays, but hasn’t made the tough play at least 3 times now.

    Bad inning and constantly working behind in the count. He just kept putting himself in situations where he’s gotta throw a strike.

    The trade worked out getting Willy, but I hated losing Rasmussen. Good to see him having success after all the injuries.

    Yea, the questions to Skubal were crazy long. Hopefully that didn’t mess him up. He really only gave up 1 hard hit ball. I do agree it’s not for the regular season or any meaningful game, but in this environment it’s been enjoyable.

    I really like players being mic’d up during the game. Some handle it better than others but there have been some cool moments. Kershaw really had fun with it.

    Megill replaced Freddy on the All-Star game roster because Freddy is starting Sunday. You won’t see all 3 of them.

    Ortiz has been much better at the plate the last month, but that was a really bad at bat. Can’t watch all 3 strikes go right down the middle with the bases loaded.

    I think the issues all started from a broken rib sustained in a practice. Truly a terrible situation. Ben has completely changed the face of Wisconsin wrestling, has been great working with the youth in the state, and has young children at home. I hope there’s a way out of this, but I’ve heard similar to you that it’s really looking bleak. I think he’s been on ECMO for over two weeks. It’s complete heart and lung bypass, but it’s not a long term option, usually only effective for 2-3 weeks from what I’ve heard.

    I know I’m probably in the minority, but I think I would’ve trusted Civale in the rotation over Patrick the rest of the way. Also doubt that Patrick would’ve been this upset over moving to the pen. I think keeping both Civale and Patrick in the organization would’ve been more useful than having Patrick and Vaughn.

    Everyone seems to be mad at the WIAA for doing this, but Wisconsin was one of only 6 states without it. If it did not pass yesterday, the state legislature was going to force it. The way it is worded it really only applies to elite level athletes getting deals from national corporations. Small “home town” businesses can not give money to local athletes. We aren’t going to see 5,000 kids on NIL deals next year, but it allows kids that can get life changing money to pursue it.

    Pretty sure Sanders was invited to the draft. Good thing he didn’t attend, he’d be the first guy to still be sitting in the green room day 3.

    Watching a broadcast on Peacock, their analysts said horrible route runner and bad hands, lol. Claimed he won’t be able to be a true WR, compared to Patterson as a just get the ball in his hands type guy.

    I think there’s zero chance that happens. Gain a little offense and give up as much on defense.

    That’s not an experiment, he’s our SS. His glove still plays and we have nobody better to replace him with.

    Saw that too. Throw beat him by a mile so probably didn’t even check it, but he got his hand to the bag before the tag.
