Woot! 2 Runs! and Turnbow threw a scoreless inning! first of the game...could this be the emergance of the new, scary, Starter-bow? lol....I hope not...But it cant be any worse than Davis!
Let's get lke Seven runs off Johnson and Whomever else is starting for the Fish in the next two game, hopefully most of them will be Prince HR/RBIs so he can knock both Johnson and Uggla out of the way in the RoY race.
Davis in trouble? He's only given up 5 runs with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out..wait till he's given up at lesat 7... Why do we have two long relievers on our roster? Out of Curiosity, is the only thing Daron's talking about 'How good Davis was last year and two years ago'?
Willis seem wild tonight? or is he just not getting some calls? Hard to tell with Gameday. ((And Was Mench's shot close to a HR, looked like it on Gameday))
Yes....the team that ultimately wins the wild card, assuming it isn't the Cards or the Reds, will need to go on a big run. On a side note, can we trade Schroeder and just have Ash do ti regularly? At least if he's providing insight.
I don't have FSN North :/ or at least I can't find it on new cable lol so I couldn't tell ya.... Gameday totally kills the whole aspect of watching a game :/
See! I do have some type of a point on the first pitch thing! They do take a lot of pitches...but you get that every so often...I wonder if theres a stat for the team that swings the most at the first pitch?
that was my point with the first pitch thing..just seems to come at unopportune times ((although if the flyout was a HR we wouldn't care lol)) And at least Bell didn't ground into a double play.... anyone know if Jenkins can play third base? He's gotta be better there than Bell has been if, for whatever reason, Yost wont play Rillo.
*shrug* then I must just remember the annoying instances when they don't.. ((Like a few weeks ago when someone walked the bases loaded and Miller swang at the first pitch hitting into a inning ending double play)) Of course, the bad does stick out more in your head, so. Edit: And I must say the Gonzalez trade has worked out quite nicely for us.
Jeter is the better shortstop...almost unbelievable defensively, less power, but gets unbelievable hits and such when they really matter. Give Billy a few years though, Jeter does have a lot more experiance.
