Why? Your pen is lights out.

[ I think like 500 games...career BA. This is false, Schumaker hit .288 for the cards, top 50 ends at .291 I said I "think" Shu was on it. I know So was. I followed your link to Baseball Reference, the same place that this afternoon I accidentally found myself on. I could not find "career BA" on that page. But the point is moot anywho.
-
Now that you mention it, I think he was on the list too, behind Taguchi. Both in the .290's.
-
One of those 3 you just named is in the top 50 all time Card hitters. Would you believe it? Based on what? I think like 500 games...career BA.
-
Do you think they will give Martinez a shot? I don't think so.
-
Oh crap...his name has "yle" in it. It seems that "Kyle" has become a big first name in baseball. A mystery why. I can't think of ANY big celebs to kick that popularity off.

Looks like Tyler Lyons may be coming in the game soon. That means the Cards will have a "mystery" starter later this week.
-
Kyle is a superb athlete and complete ballplayer. Does RRR use him to pinch run?
-
Wild guess of one.
-
This is a statement of fact.
-
I don't give a >bleep< who starts for the Brews tonite. The Cards don't deserve to win. Can't hit, field or run bases! It's disgusting.
-
Getting rid of Pujols freed up plenty. They have lots of payroll left. The blame for this loss goes back to the middle relief. How, you must ask as they shut the Brews down for 6 innings? It was the fear of going to the pen that made Matheny leave in Watcha too long. He should not have even come OUT for the 7th. They were getting to him and his pitch count was up in the 6th!
-
If the Cards were winning Wong would have stayed. By virtue of his defense he could play on any team in tha majors, but he wasn't hitting so they sent him to Memphis to work out of it. Sending Shane down was a mistake. He and Bourjos can BOTH out play Jon Jay and are the two fastest men on the team. But they're paying Jay a multi-year contract and couldn't move him. It will continue to be a problem. You might have noticed that Jay can't hit and can't run down very much in CF.
-
Hitting won't be an issue Prince. If that shut down relief keeps this up I don't see anybody catching you. If the Cards don't make some moves to shore up theirs I can see Milwaukee going wire to wire.

"Nite all.

I'm sure most of you know thet the Cards are the worst extra inning team around.
-
Sometimes these nail biters in big games get to me. Tonight I'm just really enjoying it.
-
Could you explain? The 7 day DL for concussion issues. He was hit on the head after all. Now Reynolds is at 3B which is never a good thing. OK
-
Could you explain?

It's like a brand new ballgame now. Great game so far.
-
Yeah? Well, I expected to see Gomez screw himself into the ground, helmet flying off, trying to park one to be honest. Bunts never surprise Brewers fans, not with RRR at the helm. I'll have to take your word on that. I don't know very much about his managing.
-
That bunt was an utter shock to everyone.
-
Wacha nearing 100 pitches. Most likely his last inning.
-
Nicely spoken.
